As a semi-local, I have visited the Smugglers a number of times over the last 25 yrs, as much for the stunning location as anything. We went for an informal lunch on Father's Day. In spite of the glorious weather, the pub was not overly...More

Superb location by the coast, and perfectly sheltered for el fresco eating and dining. The great location probably makes them complacent as the food was very disappointing. Wetherspoon's quality but 4 times the price. The chef must have worked really hard to make my sirloin...More

Lovely pub in a lovely setting, dog friendly and lovely food, however our experience was let down by lack of staff. There were two lovely staff that were trying to seat people, give out menus, take orders, deliver food, serve drinks and sort out bills...More

This quirky pub is situated by a beautiful cove and surrounded by rolling countryside. There is plenty of outside space, which is needed during the hot weather since the pub is extremely popular with families and being dog friendly, is a magnate for our four...More

We went and sat outside for a drink only. Very friendly and dog friendly. The atmosphere was calm. There are walks you can do from this point. Does get full quickly. We tried to go before but we couldn't park..

Visited on Thursday, which was a beautiful sunny day, plenty of outside seating and while it looked fairly busy there was plenty of available seating so nowhere near capacity. When my husband ordered a roll for me and a ploughmans for himself he was told...More
