I've eaten here many times and always been served delicious food. The beer garden looks out over the sea so wonderful in good weather.

First visit to the Cove House Inn and it won't be our last. Pleasant professional staff right from the booking conversation on the phone. Couldn't be more helpful. Food was brilliant. Home cooked. Lovely atmosphere. We mentioned that the only starters were Scallops, olives and wild mushrooms on toast. We both had the wild mushrooms. Yum! Instead of just ignoring... More

Very friendly pub, lots of atmosphere and great views over the bay from the restaurant. The sea bass was amazing and the pies tasty. Worth booking as it fills up on busy days

A very busy local pub right on the seawall where during fine weather you can sit outside and enjoy the view. With a rough sea and the right tide the pictures give a different aspect but equally impressive. We hadn't booked having arrived just a little while earlier but the staff couldn't have been more helpful and slotted us in... More

Did not eat here but went for a couple of pints after a walk along the sea defences. The pub stands alone against all the elements 365 days a year and serious gets battered in winter as some of the photos inside reveal. I absolutely love it here and will go back time and again. If you like a bracing... More

We were accommodated on a busy Saturday night, even though we hadn't booked, and having to switch some tables around, but it was worth it! Top notch grub, lively friendly atmosphere, and the joy of watching a stunning sunset with a beer in hand and the wind in your hair. Will be back sometime for a Sunday lunch, looks excellent!

Visit on a sunny day for the best experience. Having driven across the very special, spectacular Chesil Beach, we entered this unassuming pub. It is always busy with locals (a good sign). We had booked a table and sat by the window looking at a blue sea and limestone cliffs. Scotty, he of warm, witty repartee, brought us hot, local,... More
