We had lunch on a week day, so it was not a busy time. We ordered a burger and sandwich with two coffees. However the bread was dry and stale and the coffee was bitter. We thought it was not good value for money, charging £2.75 for a coffee and what we thought was a simple light lunch, was expensive!... More

Our first day on holiday, we found ourselves here for dinner. Quite busy for late afternoon. We had a chilli jacket potato, and possibly the best meal I've tasted, belly pork with all the trimmings. It was so tasty I could have eaten it again. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced, with wonderful views of the bay.

Ate and drank here on 3 different occasions during holiday week. Afternoon drinks / cake, brunch/lunch and dinner. Good range, something for everyone, specials seem to change, reasonably priced, fast service. Drinks did seem expensive but then that seemed to be common across Woolacombe. We sat mainly in the front area of the pub with good views and dogs were... More

Having been here once before 10 years ago, finding ourselves back in the area decided to revisit and hope for more of the same of what we experienced before. We were pleased to say everything was fantastic. We will be returning in a few weeks.

Travelled down to Devon for the first time to see some family. I was greeted by a lady who appeared extremely rude, I think she was the manager. Me and my brother ordered a breakfast which did come quickly, it's a shame the rest of the service was let down. Again the manager brings my plate and bangs it hard... More

Visited as a family after a walk, warm and friendly. Food choice is good and average tasting, I would recommend for lunch or coffee especially if visiting with children good selection on children's menu!

Visited the big red barn February half term. Bought a pint of beer. Beer was £4.10! Dane beer in Weatherspoons in llfracombe is £2.75. I gave the bar tender £10.10p. He stood at the till for over a minute. Then came back with £5.90 in change looking very confused. Guess old fashioned maths doesn't work on staff used to tills... More

Only place open, great spot, nice staff, clean and ok food. Probably not my place of choice but everything was OK. Children, dog and walker friendly.
