We visit Devon every year and stay in the village so often find us going back. Menu hasn't changed in recent years, although the specials are always good. Desserts are often very tasty - although on our recent visit there wasn't as much choice. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. Good choice of board games on the side for people... More

A really excellent place to eat lunch. Easy parking. Lots of tables. Pleasant staff and a varied menu. I hadon't crab salad and my husband loved his chilli con carne. I wanted the fruit pie but just dint have the room! Beer and cider choices are excellent. This is a very popular eating place even out of season, but we'll... More

My partner and I recently stayed at a nearby caravan park and decided to visit the Chichester Arms for a Sunday roast. Lovely.

We've been to this pub a few times over the last 3 years always enjoyed the food and drinks as we did on Saturday 22nd October. But as I know it's a dog friendly pub which I haven't got a problem with. The dogs are only aloud in certain parts of the pub but when one dog owner lets his... More

We were staying at Easewell farm and the staff here were so helpful with our Sunday lunch booking and then later in the week when 9 of us ate there. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we mostly had different things. Great food, great service, wonderful beers! Can thoroughly recommend.

We have been in the past but only for a drink. The barman very welcoming and friendly. The menu was good plenty of choice and looked inviting and not too costly I opted for ham and cheese ploughmans and was not disappointed it was delicious with plenty of salad, tasty coleslaw and warm bread - very nice indeed. My friend... More

We popped in on Sunday to get our Sunday roast. It very busy and obviously very popular. A very friendly pub. A proper home cooked meal, very tasty. I would recommend it. Being a coeliac I obviously didn't have the Yorkshire pud, but they made me a vegetarian gravey that was o.k.

Can up here for dinner on a Thursday evening to find this pub busy with a lovely atmosphere. We were allowed to bring the dog in which was a plus. The food was really tasty and plentiful and the service attentive and smiley. We definitely return in the future.

Popped here whilst staying at Twitchen House...popped for drink on Monday afternoon ,barman was rude and unhelpful. As it had been highly recommended on here we popped for something to eat on Wednesday evening.Nice pint of beer.....bar staff so so...girl was ok,man was bit miserable. Food was average pub grub although overpriced.Choice was ok but wouldn't go back or highly recommend.
