we wanted a snack lunch between visiting family and friends at Torcross and Strete so this was the ideal position. We both selected home made mushroom soup - this had a touch too much thyme seasoning but apart from that was hot and filling, Granary roll and butter was excellent - also the coffee.

Thank you for your kind review, most appreciated. Noted regarding the Thyme. Everything is made fresh by ourselves and we do try and vary the soup a couple of times a week. Hope to see you again soon More

Had mid week lunch and Sunday brunch in this amazing place. It's a farm shop with the nicest and best of things to buy. And the cafe/coffee shop is a delight. Prime fresh dishes, top coffee, exceptional service and modest prices. Laid back and with Wifi available it's a good place to meet up. Of course you can't just walk... More

After a bracing walk along Slapton Sands towards Torcross we nipped "around the corner" to Stokeley Cafe. What a lovely place, clearly signposted but tucked well away from the main road. Lots of local produce on sale including ales and a good meat section too - worth a butchers! The service at the cafe, though busy, was very polite and... More

As a group of 3 working in the pub and hospitality industry, we were familiar with some of South Hams Brewery's beer, for instance Sherman or Wild Blonde. We came here as a birthday treat for my brother as he has a love for the Sherman. Within 10 minutes we bought 2 of the 6 bottles for 10 pounds offers... More

Thank you very much for your kind words on both the café and our beers. As I am sure you know this feedback is great for the team who work hard in making Stokeley what it is. We are particularly pleased with our Sherman, I think it is now replaced Eddystone as my favourite beer! Once again, many thanks and... More

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and slice of fresh baked cake here one afternoon last week, whilst we rented a little cottage in the nearby village of Slapton. The cafe is situated within a sweet little garden centre which added a lovely view to their large glass doors. Overall lovely place and lovely staff - recommend to... More

We eat at Stokeley fairly regularly, living just down the road. The food is always great and good value. Their Sunday roasts are just superb. You won't be disappointed.

Exploring the area on a cold and windy Sunday. Slapton Ley was magnificent, following which we came here on the recommendation of a relative. The food is fresh and very good. Sunday roast beef was excellent and the roast potatoes.... I thought that the price of a meal was quite competitive and would gladly go there again. And that's what... More

We went for sunday lunch for our son's birthday - some of us had traditional roast which was lovely and others had lunch from the a la carte menu - fish pie was great with tasty salad - jacket potato with bean chilli and 2 salads was also scrummy. Very good value and the kids ran around outside which gave... More

Excellent farm shop selling local produce, beers and wines. Cafe is well worth a visit. Small garden centre on site with some brilliant vintage finds - galvanised troughs and buckets for example.
