We had a very pleasant interlude in chilled surroundings with our 2 year old granddaughter. It was very welcoming and a good selection of food which was freshly cooked and hot. The gentleman serving was great fun and we had a very enjoyable lunch. If we had the time we were really tempted to go back and try the pottery... More

We were in Devon for February half term and it ended up being rather wet so we struggled to find something to do without getting soaked. Our holiday cottage had a leaflet for The Art Cafe so we went to check it out. There was a range of pottery to paint along with other activities. Staff were really friendly but... More

The idea of mixingbart with eating is good for kids, but we went here for a regular ssndwich and coffee. Though friendly, the service was so, so slow. The food was average to poor. Adding chutney to a toasted cheese and onion sandwich is pretty strange, but when the chutney is not mentioned in the menu it is really silly.

Went to Devon (kings bridge) on holiday to visit a relative, and spotted this place. The kids loved doing their own thing whilst we enjoyed watching with scones and coffee. We spent half a day without realising the time, and we never once heard the kids say we are bored, that's a first!!. The owners are sooo welcoming and lovely,... More

We held the joint party of our two children (7 and 5) here with 20 of their friends. Neil and Chrissie went above and beyond to ensure that before the day there was as little stress as possible, and they were very approachable. We had exclusive use of the cafe for the party due to the number of guests, and... More
