They reallly have this spot. Been visiting for years and every season teh menu moves on, the facilities improve and the service doesn’t stumble. The seafood here is the best around. Shame it doesn’t open for dinner!

This is not a Cafe, it’s the source of the best seafood in the area. It might be a bit pricey, but it’s location and the quality of the seafood justifies it. Lunchtimes only and open until October, the terrace or shed are both good...More

After waiting for about an hour for a table for two, I saw an empty table and asked if we could have it. They should have told us! Ordered 1 monk fish and 1 sole. The monk fish was over cooked, tasteless and dry, served...More

The restaurant is quite small but very accommodating. All the seafood are locally sourced with a good wine list. Prices are relatively high perhaps due to the location and demand.

Possibly the best place to eat seafood in Devon? Great “seafood shack” ambiance, wonderfully fresh fish and shellfish, very generous portions, atmospheric and a unique experience. Pray for good weather. I recommend booking and enjoy a long relaxed lunch with ideally a boat trip back...More
