This pub is an absolute great fine, I can’t believe it has taken 172 years to find it! The famous fire has burnt for 172 years, and you can just feel the atmosphere. Reasonable food, and friendly welcome.

We have been several times, a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of history Staff friendly and helpul, dogs allowed, restaurant is very good and the food is very good.

Friendly couple behind the bar. Didn't eat as arrived too late but apparently usually they serve food 12-9pm Warm in the pub and cosy. Food average prices at about £10 per head.
