Great pub. The beer is well kept and really good. The landlady Wendy is very friendly and helpful. Great put to watch the Rugby. Great food. The pizza is fantastic. Thank you for a great afternoon.

Always feel welcome by staff and locals alike. Very old pub which hasn't been modernized, not many left like this. Serves freshly cooked, home-made,above average pub food. All areas are exceptionally clean for age of place. Well done to all staff,Landlord, and Landlady.

Is this place clean? Or do they just cater for all the friends on benefits? Such a shame. Could be such a lovely pub.

It's a shame really, such a lovely pub, lovely bar staff, wonderful punters but cant say the same about the landlady. Rude is an understatement.

First night in Chudleigh, and this looked like a cert for drinks and evening meal. Wrong. Reasonable welcome, limited ales. The pub is split in two, and the part we were in seemed to hosting a party for locals. We would have moved to the other...More
