We had a superb evening meal. I had a tasty, juicy steak with vegetables and side salad, whilst my wife had a soft tender Sea Bass with all the trimmings. Recommend you visit instead of the many fish and chip shops. The staff couldn’t have...More

Being that I am in the trade within the Midlands at a far higher level, some advice might go down well. On initial view of the restaurant the signs don’t grab you and make you want to try it at all. The under 12 years...More

Great steak one of the best I've had recently, other mains were ok. We had to ask for veg as we didn't have the full choice. We weren't made aware of a specials board and only saw it on the way out. Hopefully issues will...More

Having enjoyed a visit to this restaurant in a different guise two years ago, I was hoping for a similar experience. Happily that was exactly the case - very friendly and helpful staff, delicious, reasonably priced food nicely presented, with generous portions.

Description
We are an unpretentious restaurant serving great food. We have local fresh fish and terrific steaks from locally reared stress-free animals. Choose a bottle of wine from our carefully selected range, all priced below normal restaurant prices. We make our own bread and desserts. All in all, we can give your tastebuds a great workout. We welcome adult diners, but regret that we are unable to offer facilities to children under 12 years old. We are now open for lunches 12-3 we will allow children over the age of 6 to come and join us, we have a selection of sandwiches and jacket potatoes to offer.
