Having seen the series on tv we called in and ordered the oap special at £3.95 the lady told us the fish was bite size and she wasn’t wrong. The main issues were seating far too many tables in the small area also the table...More

We got a take-out here but couldn't finish it as it was so greasy. Ended up having to throw it away and go somewhere else which was perfect.

Greasy and the worst Fish and chips I have ever eaten. I would not visit again. Dated and live off the reputation of 40 years ago and then the TV show recently.

Having seen this place on TV we wanted to try it and we were not disappointed. The welcome was friendly and the food was really delicious. We shall be eating here again.

We went for lunch and although the portion of fish was not huge it was good quality and tasty. It was all cooked fresh and the waitress service was efficient.

Had chips sausage mushy peas and the wife had cod chips and mushy peas we both had bread and butter, tea enjoyed it the lady serving us was very professional and couldn't fault the place

Saw this on telly not as good as we thought. Ordered large fish cake it was very small, we used nippy chippy next door far better than Rios won't be going back Jed Harrogate

Had the cod and chips, ok portion. Very tasty fish with delicious fresh chips. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We had fish and chips takeaway with battered sausages which was very tasty staff appeared really friendly . Would visit again.
