Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cafe le Cheile is a welcoming cafe on the grounds of Knock Shrine.
It’s very friendly staff combined with beautiful fresh food is a pleasure to experience.
Easy access and wheelchair accessible.
Delicious homemade scones, delicious breakfasts and very enjoyable lunches are on offer. There is always a great choice of lunch options, there are very tempting deserts on display and the coffee is very nice.
Looking forward to my next visit.......

A gem of a cafe … friendly and professional staff. When I saw them down on their knees cleaning the table stands, I felt safe in the knowledge my rhubarb & strawberry tart was going to be good. (Oops! I had eaten half of it before taking the photo!) And It Was!! It was my first time in Knock for over 30 years, this cafe, and many of the other improvements are wonderful!
Well Done Everyone at Le Cheile!!

Lovely break for lunch of just a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. Everything was lovely so hard pressed to pick your favourite.
Lovely friendly staff, mainly young staff but friendly and efficient, gets quite busy at lunch time.
If you do go do not miss the little museum and gift shop that is in the same building, lovely to pick up on some local information.

Had lunch here on a weekend we spent in knock. The staff were friendly and pleasant however the food was only ok but I have to say the size of the portions really made up for it we got what we couldn't eat to go and had it later in the day for tea.

A hidden gem on the grounds of the Knock Shrine. We came here for lunch while visiting and I enjoyed my meal - chicken with a side of fries. There were a lot of options for dessert as well, but I didn't have any. We all enjoyed our meal here and will definitely return when we're back in the area.

I like to visit Knock now and again but today I had the time to visit the museum and cafe. I was fascinated with the museum. It is so well laid out, I love the house and the forge. We rounded it with soup in the cafe.
