Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic place serving fresh, delicious food. The soda bread here is to die for! The staff are professional and attentive and the service is brilliant for such a lively, busy place.

We came here for a breakfast/brunch with our Airbnb host and it was the best idea! An Irish breakfast or the pancake's are a really good option!

Good stop off for lunch- passing through from Killarney to Limerick and had a decent lunch - good value for money. Kids had chicken goujons and we had a wrap and a steak sandwich. Steak sandwich was very good apparently!

We stopped here on our way to Kerry and were not disappointed. The food and service were both top notch. I was particularly impressed with COVID controls. Will return when in Limerick for sure

Was here today with the lovely Ursula. What a nice menu! And so reasonably priced! And the super staff! We were looked after by Clodagh who was charming. I had a scrambled egg n bacon bagel with relish. It was absolutely delicious and including coffee...for €6, it couldn’t be better! Ursula has similar so we were delighted. Plus they even took our details for covid tracing which I thought was so professional and by the way, the tables are screened off so it’s as safe as it could be in the current environment. Well done guys!More

Don’t know why I return to this place, met a friend for lunch today , we waited 20 mins & still nobody came near us to clear the dirty table or give us menus. Eventually I went and asked a waitress do we have to...order at the counter and she replied rudely say no there will be someone with you when we have time there is only two of us on! Then she continued straight to a table where a man had just sat down, and started clearing his table and took his order and had a conversation with him. Eventually a young girl came to our table she was very polite and friendly. Cleared our table and took our order. With my food I ordered a hot chocolate and it was luke warm so I told our waitress, she was more than obligingly to sort the issue. The food was also very slow coming out but was nice.More

Sure it was a Saturday afternoon but based upon food quality and prices I would expect this cafe/deli/bakery to be half empty. 9.50 for a ordinary chicken panini and chips?

Visited marguerites for breakfast!! Coffee was watery! Husbands all day breakfast was inedible! Sausages and bacon were burned!! Very poor standards! I ordered pancakes which were mediocre. Service was good but standards will have to improve and I will definitely not be returning.

Stopped at 3pm today on our way to Dingle for a quick lunch. The place is lovely, airy and bright. Great selection of food both hot and cold ( full dinner/salads/ soups). Friendly staff, quick and efficient service with a smile and a bit of...chat. Huge portions of food and as for the buns/cakes...scrumptious. Will definitely call again.More

I always visit Marguerites when I visit Newcastle West. This is a very popular place in the town. It’s always very busy. Food is very good and they have a great selection of delicious cakes.
