We had booked well in advance as we were 3 families (and 3 generations) celebrating a very special birthday and we were facilitated by having a private room. The menu was wide-ranging and accommodated ages from 5 to 80. The venison sausage and mash was...unusual and local and went down very well. Very nice staff.More

Stopped by for a late lunch after walking at nearby Glendalough. Sat outside as it was a nice sunny day, still busy even so late at lunchtime Food was good. We had the roast beef with the biggest Yorkshire pudding ever and the blue cheese...and pear salad. The latter was gorgeous, only niggle was that I originally had to send it back because it was missing the cheese which is the star of the dish. Said cheese was the local Wicklow blue cheese which was so yummy, bought some to take home. Service good and nice friendly atmosphereMore

We stopped in for dinner after a day through Wicklow. We had fish & chips and Irish stew. Both were the best we had on the entire trip through Ireland. Who knew?? Enjoyed the seating outside. We may travel through the area again just to...eat here.More

Me and my family stopped here for something to eat after a few hours at Glendalough. The pub was nice and traditional and the food was really nice. I had ordered one of the burgers which was great, but had been charred a little, but...it didn't spoil the meal. Ill definitely pop in here again if ever at Glendalough again.More

We went here for a sandwich on our first day in Laragh. Went back a second day for dinner which was perfect. I had a burger and fries while my vegetarian partner had the lesagne.. He was dubious initially as most pubs don't cater to...vegetarians but it was perfect. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Their welcoming nature and impeccable manners are a huge asset to such a place.More

Genuinely the nicest and warmest staff I've come across in a long time. Everything was superb, food and drinks were brilliant, staff were excellent at their job (incredibly friendly and professional) Warm and accommodating. Start to finish a great experience, couldn't fault them if I...tried. Will be back very soon and would suggest to any and everyone looking for a pleasant time. 11/10More

Came here after a family day out to have some food and the attitude of the waitressing staff was horrendous!! Dismissive when asked about the dinner menu 45 mins before “the dinner menu”? The chef is too busy I was told in a restaurant of...8 people eating…. Defo won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend unless you wanna leave extremely irritated after been spoken to like a dog.More

Waited 20 minutes just to get a menu. Then when we were given a menu we were waiting another 20 minutes just to have our order taken. We asked politely twice that we were ready to order to be told someone would be with you...in a minute which they were not. Then when we received our breakfast there was no toast with it. We were told by the server theyd drop it down to us which they never did. Overall very bad experience would not recommend for breakfast.More

Good good service is poor. Such a pity the staff let the kitchen down. They don’t make eye contact and I had to continually call for service, other actually left as the waited so long.

Official or not, there was a dog in the bar when we were there. Didn't appear to be a problem. Let common sense prevail.
