Visitors to Glendalough and Laragh have the most original and fab local, fresh made snack and lunchtime food at this cafe. Run by Clodagh and team, GGreen is popular and loved widely by visiting walkers, hikers, bikers, cycling MAMILs and locals alike. Not to be missed, its sanctuary for those who know and love well prepared food and coffee in... More

I love stopping here and people watching. There are always bikers and tourist in and around here and its a nice chill out spot. The foods they sell inside are class all peanuts and local made bits and pieces

We first came to have a cappuccino and a piece of cake. Big variety of home made cakes and pies with fresh cream. The coffee and cake tasted both great for a good price. After our walk we came back for lunch: a sandwich and a salad. You can choose from the counter what kind of salads/bread you like. Very... More

Quirky cafe cum shop in a great location. Coffee always good and an excellent selection of cakes. The shop also has a good deli selection. Busy at weekends in the summer, a gem in winter when the stove is going.

We had a very nice Vegan lunch during our tour of the area. The food was locally sourced and delicious. We had a lovely soup and a sampling of their fresh made salads, potato, bean, etc. The owner even shared with us some plums that she had just picked off the tree behind the cafe'. What a treat!!

Stopped off here on the way to the monastery. We all enjoyed our snack. The soup was delicious. The selection of bread for sandwiches was not great. I did notice three photographs priced at 50 euro each. I don't think they will sell these at that price.

A lovely stop in thr small village of Laragh in the Wicklow Mountains with a fantastic view on the surrounding hills. This was the first real coffee break I could take while walking on the Wicklow Way and the Latte I got was really tasty. Even better: the small grocery store offers a wide range of trek snacks and allows... More
