Nice to sit outside in the sun but sadly there was only one thing on the menu not containing wheat. The blue cheese salad was so small it would have fitted on a tea saucer and the minute amount of blue cheese was hard to...find. Probably about 15 grams. When I asked for more they brought another 15 grams or so. The salad was next to nothing. The cost of 8 euros means they must be making a huge profit on such a meagre meal. They don’t have gluten free beers either and therefore it’s no go for gluten free.More

We came to the restaurant on a Saturday and on a Sunday evening and on both occasions it was extremely busy. Despite that, service was swift and the attitude of the staff was that you were a valuable customer and they were pleased to serve...you. They made you feel quite special. They have been trained extremely well. Food was beautifully cooked and the beer was kept well.0 Highly recommended.More

I enjoyed two dinners at the Wicklow Heather. I was very pleased to see multiple vegetarian options. I promised myself that I would get the super food salad on my second visit, but indulged in the spinach and ricotta tortellini for a second time! It...was so good! I also enjoyed the ice cream dessert; they accommodated my request for a single scoop instead of the whole 3 scoop standard. Lastly, they treat customers to a complimentary bailey's at the end of their meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.More

The food was excellent as well as the service. The menu has a variety of selections from pasta to chicken to seafood. The portions are a good size and well presented. The drink menu has a large variety of beers, wine and hard liquor. The...wait staff was very friendly. Overall a wonderful dining experienceMore

Outstanding service with 5 different servers as touch points throughout the meal. Impressive. Led by Dennis, I was blessed to be served by Devina, Kelly, Effie, and Goche. Service excellent with a smile and food delicious at a reasonable price.

Service was beyond abysmal. We ordered wine and a beer at the start and got it AFTER our food came out (with no offer of water). They are clearly understaffed but the staff don’t even pretend to care. Food was subpar. No real redeeming qualities...here.More

The lamb stew was a vegetable stew with 3 small pieces of meat. The waiter said only "sorry", not more.
