4 of us. Great food, nice spices. Very good service. Fish of the day was Grilled Grouper. Excellent because it had the subtle, and appealing Greek spices. Wine I bought excellent.

Last month (October 13th) we were driving by The Wicklow Heather and decided to stop for a small bite to eat and quick drink. It was a chilly day and all guests had to sit outside. All the staff that we met were very friendly,...I could tell that they liked their jobs. The staff gave us blankets and came to press the heater button as soon as the timer had turned off. The premises was extremely clean and comfortable. Thank you, the next time we're in Wicklow, we'll be visiting again!More

Stayed in the Wicklow Heather accommodation over the weekend with my two friends and all I can say it was just fab. We stayed in the main house, the decor is amazing and top notch. Bridget the receptionish is amazing and so helpful and friendly....The food was fab and the staff in the restaurant so friendly. Although I live in Wicklow I didn't realise you could say here and it's definately a 'hidden gem'. Loved it so much we booked in again for November. Definately worth a vist.More

Attended for a birthday meal with my family. Greeted by staff on arrival and was asked did we have our masks with us as it was compulsory, we had left these in the car so returned to get them. No hassle at all this was...our bad! Staff were very attentive throughout our meal and the setting and decor of restaurant is great. The food was exceptional, not a bad word to say at all from any of us. As mentioned above, we booked for a birthday meal and had checked the box upon booking online what the occasion was. When desert was served it had a sparkler in it with Happy Birthday played on the speakers which was brilliant (not sure my partner thought so!). Complimentary baileys following our meal was also a nice touch. We will definitely be back soon.More

Called in on a Saturday afternoon for dinner quite a busy day. We were left for a good 5 min before we could even order a drink. Starter had the fish cakes these were excellent. Mail I had the lamb it was good but have...had better. My big concern was the layout we sat outside and watching the staff they had to squeeze through a small gap between the pole right outside the door and the 1st table on there left 3 adults a 2 children sat at the table far too close for the staff to work impossible to soicel distances. I suppose the big question is would I go back I will be passing next if it looks quiet I might call again.More

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch while visiting Glendalough recently. Staff were excellent, very friendly and welcoming. There was a lovely warm feeling about the place. There was also a good choice on the lunchtime menu with all reasonably priced. Plenty of parking outside...also. Well worth a visit if in the area.More
