We had an amazing visit.
My husband ordered the lasagne and he was very happy! The kids enjoyed their meal and the desserts at the end.
My highlight was our waitress, Olive! So accommodating and friendly. We’re travelling through Ireland and it has been my favourite restaurant so far because of her kindness!

We were greeted and served by friendly staff and directed to the restaurant dining room which is nicely presented and clean. Care was taken to check Covid credentials and there was sanitiser available as expected.
The main course were pleasant enough and the half plate meal offer is an excellent as the portions are very big. The quality of the ingredients is reasonably good. The curry and pasta ordered was tasty and nicely presented. However, it was I think an Irish take on an Italian dish as was the curry. It was clear that Parmesan Cheese has not been considered for italian dishes - when I asked for some parmesan cheese for the pasta dish I was presented with grated cheddar cheese. The menu is well balanced with a good choice and consideration for those with different dietary needs.
The dessert was excellent and again a big portion and beautifully presented.
Using the correct ingredients for regional dishes would add to the quality of the dishes on the menu. This is something I hope might be considered so their food reflects the care the chefs are taking in preparing and presenting meals from different regions.
Otherwise, good facilities, excellent service, good value, nice menu and tasty food.

Best Quality and Portions of Food in Ireland....probably Europe also.
The wife and I came back here today Saturday 28th August after booking.The garlic mushrooms in beer batter were exquisite.
The Chicken strips done in lovely batter with korma spices ,served with fresh cut chips (fries) and salad was beautiful. It came with a sweet chilli dip. What can I say, friendly professional staff , scenic areas to eat outside, and inside,great food and the best food I have had worldwide, beats South Korea and Dubai by a mile.Highly recommended. Oh the wife had cheesecake was light and tasty.See attached photos.

The Courtyard is fantastic for food. It's consistently good offering good quality food and value for money. We would eat here quite often. On our last occasion the service was very rushed and this was not because it was very busy. We had just put down our cutlery from our starters and the plates were whipped away. The main course came very quickly and as we were finishing the waiter was checking on another table. He then hovered around until we finished and the second we finished he was over to take the plates. The staff are always pleasant but if you are out for a meal it should not be rushed. Maybe this could be addressed to allow an more enjoyable experience.

I definitely will not be going back to the Courtyard again, teenagers serving food and have no idea of customer service. The fish was overcooked and dry and the batter was burnt and hard. Was given the wrong drink by a young girl serving on the floor. The bill was just slapped on the table without being put on a saucer.. certainly wasn't worth the high price of the food. It was a lovely place to eat a few years ago but is very shabbily run now!

Popped in for dinner while staying in enniscorthy with the family and everything was top notch from calling to book until we left.
Food was delicious ( kids were being a pain and didn't eat theirs but they boxed it up and I had it later on in hotel ) and portions were a good size.
We sat outside and atmosphere, layout etc were great.
It was my son's birthday and staff were good enough to notice his huge badge and ask if we wanted them to sing happy b-day when dessert came out. Little fella was totally chuffed with it so a big thank you for that 👍

Popped in to The Courtyard Ferns on Sunday afternoon after a lovely walk along the Slaney in Enniscorthy.
Ordered the Salmon for her nibs and I had the Scampy.
Just great dishes which were literally devoured.
Service brilliant and fun so all left a very pleasent experience.
Would recommend the Courtyard Ferns for consistency and great Scampy and Salmon 😀
Not overpriced either... Give it a visit when in the area.

Stopped here recently when on holidays in the south east. The staff were extremely polite and very aware of covid precautions. The food was wonderful. Quite good value. There was a blond waitress serving our food who was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

This is not the first time we have eaten here, were were here for a family and friend birthday dinner, let me start with the decor, this pub/restaurant is very well presented, the decor is lovely. It was very busy when we were there, and the tables were a little close together, this was not a problem for us, but I think for someone a little older it they might have a hard time manoeuvring around the tables. The staff were very nice and were all working well together, we ordered our food and there was a misunderstanding on one of the meals, but there was not a problem, and this really proved that everything was freshly cooked as it took a little while for the meal to arrive, I could not fault any of the food and everyone enjoyed their meals. I would definitely recommend this venue for a meal, we will be going back again on our next visit, thank you for making our visit enjoyable.

Excellent service and lovely food, very generous portions, will go back but won’t be eating much during the day before we do. Also very accommodating when we asked to be moved away from screaming children. Highly recommend.

We discovered the Courtyard upon our arrival in Ferns, stopping for lunch before checking into our B&B. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and staff so much we returned the next evening for a drink and on our last evening in Ferns for dinner. Warming and inviting location where visitors were as welcomed as locals. The seafood chowder and brown bread are a must!

First visit to this little gem and certainly won't be the last. Friendly welcome, seated promptly, great choice on menu, served within 15 minutes....piping hot food, excellent value. Sam our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Always enjoyed this restaurant and was very underwhelmed last night. The menu is very limited it seems. Staff were kind but forgetful. No cutlery, no salt or pepper, had to ask for both. Drink order forgotten about too. Fish was lovely but the chips and vegetables were cold. We will go again and hope for a better result!

Excellent food & beverages served by a very professional and efficient team in the bar.. Portions are VERY generous (neither of us could finish our meal). It was excellent; well managed and fantastic to see the level of customer service (which unfortunately is lacking in so many places).. Highly Recommended.

Absolutely fabulous Christmas party for our ladies club get together. There were 14 of us booked 4 wks in advance. The team at the courtyard were exceptional especially Trish who looked after us all night. The food was amazing...we were seated in the library, which is a beautiful area for small groups. Will definitely be back.😊
