The quirky exterior of this gem of a restaurant was the only colour in the grey row on the grey Atlantic in the tiny harbour hamlet of Mullaghmore. Can't recommend it highly enough! This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. A must visit for sea food lovers. Would love to eat here everyday! Great food & staff, will def be back. Destination restaurant in my opinion.

We used to be regulars at Eithna's every Sunday after our walk around the head and any Sunny day where we could sit out the front. This restaurant has an excellent reputation. It has won awards for Seafood Restaurant of the year etc. One of the busiest days of the year for Mullaghmore is the 12th of July. Lovely restaurant, serving fresh fish. Trout and cod were fantastic full of flavor. Definitely worth to visit.

Lovely place, staff very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. I had the hake which was superb and chocolate meringue! Yumm! Will be back!

Description
Eithna's By the Sea award-winning Seafood Restaurant, along The Wild Atlantic Way, overlooks the harbour in Mullaghmore, County Sligo. It is a friendly, family-run restaurant that caters for casual dining with homemade recipes using locally sourced food and sustainable produce. Established for over 16 years, Eithna's By The Sea Seafood Restaurant in Mullaghmore won the Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide and BIM 2014 award for its fresh seafood, shellfish and lobster dishes as well as Eithna's use of seaweed in both savoury and sweet dishes. Even though Eithna's speciality is seafood, she has plenty of other options for non fish eaters from meat to vegetarian dishes.
