Two of us had open sandwiches and enjoyed them while two of us had soup which left a lot to be desired ! Was really looking forward to my lemon tart only to be told after the girl gave me apple tart instead that the lemon tart was not yet ready, why take orders for it then !! The service... More

Set across from the small fishing boat harbor, this friendly, small 6 table place is for those who appreciate great food prepared with locally sourced seafood & organic fresh vegetables. The service was very poor very slow and disorganised, the restaurant was quiet, the food was very average given such fresh local ingredients, we were not told on booking that there was no wine license, and later charged €2 per adult corkage fee which we were not told about either. Credit cards not accepted...

Extremely cosy place, absolutely perfect for a lunch or just a glass outside overlooking the harbour. We had some nice open sandwiches, super services. Choice of fresh fish and shellfish, simply cooked and served, in the shell and without fuss for you to enjoy with organic salad leaves from local growers .. Daily specials as the boats arrive..everything home made with the seasons... Seaweed pesto is a must try !!

Description
Eithna's By the Sea award-winning Seafood Restaurant, along The Wild Atlantic Way, overlooks the harbour in Mullaghmore, County Sligo. It is a friendly, family-run restaurant that caters for casual dining with homemade recipes using locally sourced food and sustainable produce. Established for over 16 years, Eithna's By The Sea Seafood Restaurant in Mullaghmore won the Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide and BIM 2014 award for its fresh seafood, shellfish and lobster dishes as well as Eithna's use of seaweed in both savoury and sweet dishes. Even though Eithna's speciality is seafood, she has plenty of other options for non fish eaters from meat to vegetarian dishes.
