We had had a long day and I was starving. Fish and chips was superior and I could not have had a better meal! YUMMMMMM

Based on the great reviews/awards we decided to have a family dinner for 4. Staff were pleasant and we were seated promptly. All of us choose beer battered fish n chip. The fish arrived 5 minutes before chips. A minor hiccup I put this down...to. Frozen chips guys really? Could not believe they would serve tastless frozen chips and charge the prices they did. The fish itself was very disappointing. No way was that fresh and the batter was a very poor effort to. The peas were even poor no flavour at all. I went to pay and lady sounded shocked after I gave feedback after she enquired about our meal. She defended their reputation and knocked of a small portion of the meal. In reality she didn't want to hear and just wanted me gone in case anyone overheard. I tried to explain that my criticism was constructive and the chef needs to hear the feedback. Staff were pleasant and well organized. Unfortunately due to the shocking poor quality of food I cannot recommend this establishment Regards PeterMore
In the heart of Grange Village, there is loads of parking at the back. We walked in on the off chance of a table early evening on a Saturday. We were met with a smile and got a table with ease. The place is nicely...decorated with a lot of pictures of the local area. The menu looked good and I went with the daily special, Aberdeen Angus ribs with bacon mash, it was lovely, the meat was so tender and the gravy with so deep and rich in flavour. It was a good portion. My daughter had the kids pasta in tomato sauce with melted cheese and we got a portion of garlic bread with cheese to share. The food come out without delay and the staff were nice. We all had dessert, I had the lemon tartlet, which was nice and it came with ice cream. My daughter had the ice cream sundae. The whole meal was good value, especially the kids meal. It was overall a lovely experience, there was so reason what so ever not to give it a five star review.More
Just after having a lovely meal in langs, staff were extremely friendly and food was fabulous. Highly recommend going to Langs for a meal, you won’t be disappointed
Lang‘s Bar is a very beautiful and traditional irish restaurant. The food and the drinks were fantastic and the staff is absolutely friendly. I would definitely eat there again.
We ate here on Easter Sunday, food was amazing. I had a steak and my sister had a steak sandwich, steak was cooked to perfection and the staff were so kind, welcoming and they simply couldn't have done more to ensure we had a lovely...meal. Thanks to Helen and Shauna our waitresses. Will definitely be back 😊More

With the recent changes in restrictions we decided to dine out as a change from take away. Having not frequented the Grange hostility in some time , what better time to visit and a walk in was accommodated . The joy of being served at...a table with a smile again was a joy. The menu was attractive and had something for us both, although the absence of pork was disappointing. Apart from this minor issue ,it was a very enjoyable experience.More
Cut table service outdoors to punish un vaccinated, only a local pub not friendly to outsiders. Full of bullies if you talk to the wrong person
Went there on a Saturday in September and the place was buzzing. We had a lovely meal ( though I agree a salad main course, that’s not necessarily vegan, would be a welcome addition)friendly staff and good food. Would recommend.
Uncomplicated (no offence meant) food with helpful, friendly staff. Catered brilliantly with Covid protocols and allergy issues, great value too, what more could you ask for?!
Food and wine were delicious. Starters, mains and desserts were all fab! Staff were attentive and very friendly as well!
I have been here before but y husband had not. In our 6 day trip we ate here twice because the food was so good and the staff so friendly. Try the steak! mouthwatering. Lovely oint of guinness for hubby who is now hooked!
Having not dined out in a year because of Covid restrictions we decided to go to our favourite restaurant in the Sligo area. The positives are the staff who are delightful and very helpful in fact nothing was any bother to them. We found a...considerable drop in food quality and the meals were just ok. Any dishes with batter were very greasy and my onion rings were swimming in it. Frozen chips and cheap ice cream were not what we were previously used to here. We will give Langs another go maybe they just had an off day .More
I have been here many times and the food as well as the service is always excellent, highly recommend!
