Went for the three course special that includes a glass of wine. Wasn't offered a glass of wine but on leaving was charged 3 euros for 3 dashes of cordial. Felt this was very very stingy of the establishment especially when I found other customers...were not charged for a dash. Pity as the food was nice but won't be back.More

Stayed here for two nights and found it to be a lovely old coaching house with b and b. We had a meal in the restaurant and the done was beautiful. The staff couldn't help enough either. Room very clean and was a lift for...my mum. We found it hard to find this place on trip advisor as the real name for the place is Cuil Darach. All in all a lovely place to stay. Just one thing though. There wasn't tea and coffee making in the room. But hey the Guinness was greatMore

Visited Cuil Darach today for a business lunch. You can reach it by foot from the main car park in Clones - walking to the top of car park; turn left & walk up hill for a few yards & you'll find the archway entrance...on the left. One of my colleagues is a regular so she knew to ask the barman if we could get a table in the main restaurant rather than dining in the bar area. Restaurant was empty when we arrived but really did fill up quickly. Good range of meals available from lunch menu at reasonable prices. I tried the Tuna Melt (€5.95) which seemed to be a burger bun cut in half with tuna mix on each half & topped with melted cheese. Dish was served with coleslaw & chips....delicious & surprisingly filling. Staff were lovely, especially Madge (hope I've got that right) who made sure we didn't want for anything & was really sociable. Our bill, which we were asked to pay at the main bar (4 lunches plus drinks) cost €41 which was more than reasonable. I would definitely call into Cuil Darach again the next time I'm in Clones & would recommend.More

I had a plate of vegetables as there was no veggie option.I was charged 8.50 .....!! When I complained I was astonished by rudeness of the elderly man behind bar. Do not visit and do not believe the reviews here. Food is overpriced , mediocre...and the whole establishment is dirty and run down. 1 out of 10 max.....very poor value and the worst attitude I have ever come across.Avoid...Avoid. ...AvoidMore

Good food and nice staff, one of very few places in Clones to get a decent meal! A good sized dining room and function room for larger groups of people!

The food is always good and the staff are lovely and always very accomodating - even in the biggest of groups

The rooms were bare, beds were tiny, it was so cold. The bar/lounge is downstairs and while staff are very friendly it is not to everyones taste. It was located in the centre of town. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone and...will most definitely not be returning.More
