A very quaint bakery with a great selection of home-baked authentic Irish breads and cakes. The staff are wonderful too and give a very Irish welcome to visitors. Thanks Kathleen hope to see you again!

We stopped in for a quick coffee and chat when spending a day in Clones. It was absolutely rammed and the wait time was quite long. To be fair, it's not for the want of effort from the staff, they were doing their best! It...was just so busy. Quite an eclectic, colourful place but a nice vibe and decent cappuchino/hot chocolate. Very central but no parking directly outside. Still it's a short stroll if you can ditch your car anywhere near the town centre.More

Stopped here en route to Monaghan town for a coffee and light lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful and the chicken Caesar salad sandwich was delicious. We also enjoyed the tasty apple and cinnamon scones which were delightfully fresh. I would definitely return next time...I'm in Clones and would recommend Dinkins as a "pit-stop" for weary travellers!More

Stopped in Belturbet and called into Dinkins. We ordered a cappuccino and a hot chocolate, together with a chocolate éclair and a coffee millefeuille. The éclair was fine, but my millefeuille had changed into a chocolate sponge cake by the tie it was served. I...didn't bother commenting at the time and what I had was fine. I just felt that if the server didn't know what I meant she should have asked. If in the area we will certainly call again.More

We were passing through Clones and decided to try and find somewhere to have a late lunch. We were not spoilt for choice in this small town so we went into Dinkins without too much expectation. It is an old building but everything was clean...and there were other diners there which is a good recommendation in itself. I had a lovely mixed salad with gorgeous wheaten bread. OH had french toast and bacon. We could in no way fault the food or the staff who were extremely friendly. We both had a comfort break and declared both sets of facilities spotlessly clean. A great wee place to eat if your passing through this quaint wee town.More

Visited this place on a fairly regular basis for a coffee and a cherry scone. Great service and very tasty cherry scone. Good value.

I previously wrote a review on this restaurant in which I couldn't praise them highly enough. However, this review will be the complete opposite. We (2 adults and a toddler) went in here last Monday, 05th of September. We got 2 panini, which were actually...ciabatta and were very dry and mine hadn't the salad I'd asked for. Whilst I was deciding what to have on the second panini, the girl went and left and took and made order for couple behind me. We ordered scrambled eggs and beans for our toddler. Which, looked more like an egg which was roughed-up on the pan, no beans. I told her I'd ordered beans, also. She brought the beans and later returned and said she hadn't taken for the beans. I paid her the requested €1.40 for the coup of beans. The floor was covered in food. I stood on one of two pieces of sausage, yuck! From now on,we'll go into the restaurant / service station outside Castleblaney.More

It appears that a previous review refers to another Dinkins. This one is most definitely in Clones, at the charming Diamond. They bake their own bread, so the filled rolls are delicious, from a wide menu. They also do light meals and average coffee. The...décor is ordinary, but it's bright, clean and spacious, with good toilets. Prices are very reasonable - a few euros for a roll and coffee, but it's the service that stands out;- It's delightful from the warmest of greetings until you leave. I wish all cafes could do this.More
