Cinnamon Garden is a contemporary India restaurant serving modern Indian food in a beautifully decorated dining room.Our goal is to bring global to the local community by introducing a modern approach to Indian cuisine. Our menu features bold and distinct that showcase the unique blend of cuisines found throughout India. We use locally grown seasonal produce and herbs to prepare our sauces, spice blends, and desserts daily. We are committed to using the highest quality meats, seafood and fish. We ate at this restaurant today for a family birthday - food and service impeccable. You must try the hanging garlic bread. What a nice touch to serve the bread hanging off a skewer - makes life easy to share - fabulous idea. Defiantly will return and we'll worth the travel if you are not local.

Myself and my family had a fantastic experience in this very homely and friendly restaurant. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and were checked in regularly throughout the night. They were fully booked and the manager went above and beyond to fit a group of 8 of us in his restaurant for my birthday. He was kind, polite and extremely helpful.
The food was amazing from start to finish. The food was served hot and was very tasty. The only fault was that the butter chicken wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked it after asking for it spicy. They were extremely busy and the manager was not satisfied with the standard of service so he gave the table complementary drinks. This was completely unexpected and I did not even have to complain about anything to receive this extremely kind and appreciative gesture. This is what made this a 5 star restaurant for me.
The cocktails were delicious and better than some high standard cocktail bars I’ve gone to. The waitress Caoimhe who was serving our table was very professional, friendly, served us with a smile and nothing we asked for was a hassle.
The staff sang happy birthday to me and surprised me with a delicious dessert. I couldn’t of asked for a better night 🥰 I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for, delicious authentic Indian food, and amazing service from the minute you enter the restaurant until you leave.
I would like to thank all the staff at the Cinnamon Garden for making my night very special! ❤️
I cannot wait to return!

My group of golf friends make an annual trip to the British Isles and always look for an Indian restaurant for one of our dinners out. We were staying just down the road in Ashbourne so we went to The Cinnamon Garden. They were ready for our group of seven, seated us promptly and Barbara and Ella both made us feel at home. For many of the group this was their first experience in an Indian restaurant, but they quickly acclimated. The food was excellent, and the service was even better. They did a perfect job of catering to a group of novices when it comes to Indian cuisine. At the end of each trip we conduct a poll about best golf course, best hotel, and The Cinnamon Garden was the unanimous choice for best meal

Thrilled to find this restaurant. Absolutely fantastic, authentic tasty, fresh food ! Excellent service … I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. So impressed I ordered a takeaway a few weeks later unfortunately due to a glitch (with the delivery company app) the meal ended up at somebody else’s address. The restaurant staff were amazing and resent all of the food to the correct address with absolutely no fuss even though the error was not theirs ! Excellent service excellent management can’t wait to eat there again !

Only a pandemic could have kept us away from our annual trip to The Cinnamon Garden so we had to wait three years to once again savour the food and atmosphere. We were welcomed like old friends and as always love the advice given as to what dishes compliment what and whst would best suit our personal tastes. Flavours are amazing, and the saag paneer is the best we have ever tasted - highly recommend - we will be back!

Visited on a Monday evening but still busy vibe. On arrival we had a lovely welcome from the owner. This positive start to our experience continued right to the end of our evening. We ordered individual starters for all of us and each one was beautifully presented and so so tasty. My husband's duck starter was the best he has had. Then we ordered four mains to share between six as portion size was very generous. And again each one was top notch. And I forgot to mention the lovely poppadoms with a trio of dips brought to the table on arrival. And a final touch were the chocolate mints with our coffee. Our best Indian dining experience in a long time. I would highly recommend it.

We tried to order food for delivery however there were not enough delivery drivers. We did not mind this however, and offered to collect the food instead. When we were about to place the order over the phone, the staff member said they couldn’t take the order because they were too busy and simply hung up the phone with no other information. We were very disappointed by this blatant lack of basic customer service and took our custom elsewhere. We will not be dining in the restaurant or ordering take out again.

Another amazing night at Cinnamon Garden. Cinnamon Garden kept us going through lockdowns with their amazing takeaways but dining in is something else. The service, the atmosphere, the food and cocktails... all just divine! We were offered a vegan and vegetarian menu of new dishes I was yet to try and wow did they deliver! The tofu lemon chilli is my new favourite. We had a lovely night here and left thinking about when we could go again. I recommend treating yourself to night here as soon as you can!

An authentic taste of India. This restaurant is as close as I have come to tasting food from India. The chicken off the bone was superb, possibly the nicest Nan I’ve had in my life. The kids absolutely loved it as well. Something for all the family. The staff were busy and diligently checked everyone’s covid cert whilst offering a top class service. If you are visiting Ashbourne or the surrounding area don’t hesitate to eat here you won’t be disappointed.

I have never written a review of Cinnamon Garden beforecdespite going there several times. Just to say on my most recent visit the food was excellent as always. I think it's important to recognize this as many restaurants fail to reach this standard. Also all dishes are extremely well priced.

Cinnamon Garden truly deserve credit for their award winning food and service
Another delicious variety to enjoy during winter
4 Starters were shared between 4 of us
Prawn Zaffrina, Punjab Vegetable Samosa, Trio of Chicken, Chicken Bhatti Ka Murgh
Mains we enjoyed Chicken Jalfrezi, Checken Tak a Tak, Lamb Rogan Josh and a delicious Lamb Biryani. I have had the Chicken Biryani previously and both ar highly recommended dish.
Supplied with Mushroom Rice & Goc Naan's as sides
We enjoyed Cobra beers and Chablis white wine.
Fabulous Table and Service given to us.
Hope anyone whom is regulars or a first time should find a dish to enjoy, amazing food and culinary experience and deserve every award they achieve.

Have to say this is the best Indian restaurant in North County Dublin/ Meath area.
Have been eating here for over 10 years and because its local and I'd rather keep it to myself, I've never reviewed it on this site.
The staff are amazing, the food is second to none, service is spot on and it's not overpriced or pretentious. Bookings are seen on time and the atmosphere is great.
Always a great night, taxis outside, or hang about for a drink downstairs with live music. Highly recommended this little gem 💎

We went to Cinnamon Garden for our first meal as a family since restrictions have eased, was very impressed to see temperatures being taken at the door, plenty of sanitiser, and staff wearing PPE. Yet again another fabulous meal all round, particularly the fish dishes. Stunning restaurant with amazing food and fantastic management!

As always wonderful, this time without the kids, so later booked 8pm Saturday night, busy busy with in house guests and busy collection/takeaway. Wonderful service we had a new wee waitress in training who did a wonderful job Eye contact, positive, happy to be there and still had excellent knowledge of menu. Highly recommended. Always excellent food and excellent service/ guys this is Indian food not like what you’ve tryed before better I highly recommend

I have been here 3 times before but this time I brought my son and husband. They were delighted with the welcome, the safeguards in place and the staff. The food was a great hit , every course I had fish to start , husband had trio of chicken and son had chicken thighs marinated all sublime. My main was lamb with minced lamb and chana masala. husband had lamb rogan josh and my son had a duck dish which was out of this world.. They had room for dessert rice pudding and pineapple again could not be faulted. All I can say is I will spread the word , it is easily the best indian I have eaten in Ireland and the UK. Well done hope to see you again soon. Husband has voted best meal ever. !!
