Went to Tracey’s for a little treat with my misses, my baby and 2 family members. We had to get our own menus after about 15 minutes of waiting after being seated. Then when we were seated, our food took about 40 minutes to come...out and it came out wrong. We ordered 2 medium rare steaks, both were overdone and like concrete and we had to send them back. Had to wait a further 15-20 minutes for the replacements, once they came we had waited so long that we were no longer hungry. They forgot the baby bowl for my baby aswell. All in all, considering the poor service and food, it was very overpriced. €93 bill for bad service and food. Disappointing to say the least. Won’t be returning which is a shame as when I used to come here a few years ago, it used to be great. Seems to have changed a lot in the last number of visits we have had.More

We had a really nice meal here. The staff were so friendly and the prices were great value. I had the steak which was one of the best steaks I have eaten and my wife had the duck filled spring rolls. We couldn’t fault any...of it. I would highly recommend this place for a Guinness and some amazing food.More

This is a very good stopping place for Breakfast if you're traveling to or away from Dublin. Food was amazing and the service was quite efficient. This might have been the only restaurant we went to on our vacation where we were able to interact...with locals instead of other tourists.More

This place was a convenient stop on our drive from Dublin to Killarney. Arrived just around noon and breakfast seemed to be the thing to order. Thought it would be a lively pub atmosphere but it was more like a diner. Service was slow and...food was just average, slightly disappointing.More

We went here three times in the space of 48 hours due to the excellent service we had on our first night. We didn’t get the name of the chap who looked after us but he couldn’t have done more to help us feel welcome....We had a little table in the snug for dinner with our dog and he even brought the dog a selection of bits to eat. He was really sympathetic to my husband’s dietary needs and was an all round credit to the place - really sorry we didn’t get his name but he was tall and bald if that helps. We went next day for breakfast and dinner and each time the service and staff were just lovelyMore

Visited with husband and will not be returning > 0 star option should be available. Staff were rude on arrival and when seated we were handed a menu with dried food on it. Our table was dirty and needed to be cleaned properly. Menu items...basic but we just wanted a simple lunch. Husband ordered beef I went for chicken. Both dry and inedible and very bad quality. Veg old fashioned tasted as if it had been cooked yesterday sat around and reheated in microwave. Please avoid and save your money for somewhere else. We couldn't eat what was served and cheap fast food would have been a better option.More

Hadn't stopped in Treacy's for a while , but called in for Breakfast last Sunday morning whilst driving from Cork to Dublin. Same excellent food, great service by an efficient and friendly staff. Food was great value with no extra charge for tea or toast...etc like many do nowadays. Seated quickly, served quickly, really enjoyed the visit. Having plenty of parking with no parking charge or exit barrier nonsense makes it convenient and welcoming. Excellent. Keep it ip.More

Rough week this week at work for me and I couldn't face cooking a meal so we decided to head to Treacys for dinner with our 13 year old. Went into the restaurant feeling a bit stressed out from the week but left feeling like...a new person. It's such a warm and cosy place to be, you have no choice but to relax. Staff were really nice, food was fabulous. My 13 year old ordered the cesar salad and there wasn't a salad leaf left on the plate and she's quite fussy. Garlic mushrooms were yum. I ordered the stuffed chicken and ham and it was just as expected, can't beat home comforts. My husband had surf and turf, which he enjoyed. The raspberry cheesecake looked light and fluffy, couldn't tell you what it tasted like because my fussy 13 year old had it gone before I could steal a nibble lol. We'll definitely come back here though, perfect for families.More
