I used to eat at Vie de Chateaux quite a lot in their early years, but a friend of mine was overcharged for a simple beer which offended me. However I recently returned and was pleased to see that there had been a revamp of the interior, very nice, and the food was still good. I gave it a Very... More

Was here tonight. The staff are fantastic. The food although was tasty I felt was slightly over priced. It's a beautiful restaurant and it's in a lovely location. But with so many other choices in the area. That have so many specials on during the week. I felt that it was a bit over priced.

On Friday 28th April after a day at Punchestown Festival I had a late dinner with with my husband at 10 p.m. Although it was late we were greated with warm smiles all around. We opted for main course only as it was quite late. We also had red and white wine suggested by our Waitress which was extremely good.... More

Was looking forward to visiting and was not disappointed. Visited for dinner after Punchestown races, is not cheap but it is very good! Would recommend the steak, very generous size, I came home with a doggey bag!

Authentic French cuisine and atmosphere. Great place for lunch or dinner. Had lunch here (again) recently with my wife, and was reminded of how good French food is. Great choice for lunch at reasonable prices. (Dinner menu is more extensive and a bit more pricey - but worth it) ! Specials vary daily - and fish usually features. Mussels or... More

Had dinner here with my husband on Saturday evening. Beautiful setting near the water and gorgeous interior. Wonderful service throughout the evening. I had the duck special and my hubbie had the steak....both were fab. But the highlight of our meal was the desert. We had the chocolate fondant and the crème bruleè. They were both divine!! Thanks for a... More

Dined in Vie de Chateaux on 05 April 2017 for the first time. On first sight, the ambience is modern and the place clean and appealing. Menu is not to log which, in my view is always a good sign. Opted for mussels, cod and cheese board (plus a bottle of very good Pinot Grigio). Food was exceptional and the... More

A stunningly competent restaurant. Charming "boss" running calm, confident and delicious dining experience. His team were attentive, smart and effective. Responded graciously to a "year " discrepancy on the desert wine menu. Great evening. What a treat. This is a destination restaurant, worth a return to Naas.

Lovely tasty and well presented meal. Had charcuterie as starter this time. Gorgeous selection of homemade pate and saucissons. Then the special was halibut and artichoke with squid. Fish was cooked to perfection. Husband had scallops starter and chicken main. Also divine. A bottle of good red and two baileys coffees too. It set us off 121 euros which we... More
