My husband and I had a really beautiful meal here tonight. We were welcomed by the staff who were so pleasant throughout the evening. The food was beautiful. One of the best dining experiences we've had out in a while. Will definitely be back!
Lovely room and staff. I was surprised that only a set menu was available on a Thursday night but there were a few options that peaked my interest. The Duck Croquette perhaps needed a little more seasoning and the Chicken Supreme was piping hot, gnocci...was well made but again missing a punch to the flavour. set menu is great value at €30 for 2 courses and decent servings but i was a little underwhelmed with the food. Theres a nice area for groups just inside the front door, there seemed to be Carafes of wine on tap and the safe were very pleasant - would be nice spot for groups, catch up, pre night out meal but unfortunatley i am not sure i will be back.More
First time in bouchon after recieving a gift voucher from a friend. Had initial booking time and needed to change last minute as we were running late, this wasn't a problem and they allocated us a later time. Food was lovely with just the right...amount of choice not over complicated with a busy menu. Staff where very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed and warm and decor was very tasteful. We will definitely return.More
By far the nicest steak in Naas. The service is also very friendly and down-to-earth. Keep it up guys.
Our 2nd visit was disappointing compared to the 1st. There was 6 mains on offer of which 3 were beef ,2 steaks and the special was featherblade of beef. The steaks had the same sides but different potatoes which we felt was lazy. The breads...were also very poor compared to before. It was a pity as its a lovely setting with a nice ambiance.More
Enjoyed a meal here with a large Group on 26th August. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, particularly the hake - definitely recommend! The waiting staff are so polite and courteous. I can't wait to go back!
Crab 🦀 and salmon starter. No lemon 🍋 for the fish 🐟.eventually three slices of half lemon 🍋, as then as you would put in a gin and tonic were found for us. Steak and skinny fries 🍟 next. Steak was carboardy, fries 🍟 just...not up to scratch. I did not order the rhubarb tart but my colleagues who did said it was delicious 😋.More
We had a really special Birthday meal on Saturday evening last (9th July'22) Food & Wine was simply beautiful & the staff attentive without being intrusive . The Restaurant (& Kavanagh's Bar downstairs ) possess a touch of class with great warmth & ambience throughout.... A real find & we will definitely be back again !More
Lovely dinner with my family. A Mediterrnean-French-inspired menu. Good food, presentation, and service.
We had a brilliant meal here. I highly recommend the duck confit so tender and tasty. My wife had the king scallops which were also very good. Dessert was a rhubarb baked tart also excellent Lovely setting staff were on the ball and the service...was fastMore
Food an d service are excellent and would recommend a visit to this nice restaurant. Seat spacing between parties is excellent. Food quality and choice will suit most tastes. One negative is the wine list and especially the whites. The wine selection is very much...bottom drawer low quality cheep price. The only offering in the quality wine offering is a 1st cru Chablis, while a simple google review of the label revels a very poor two stars. Suggest a wider selection of good quality white wines in the 40 to 80 euro price range would enhance the whole experience and match the good quality food on offerMore
Went for a mid week meal and it did not disappoint! The decor of the restaurant is really nice! The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The food was so delicious! Loved the goats cheese salad starter and for main the hake...was really tasty. For dessert I would never go for creme brûlée but I have to say this was the nicest one I have ever tasted. We will be back again soon.More
Food is totally overrated, over priced and service is terrible. I am not sure how they get so many good reviews?More
Dear Alastair Thank you for your review, second one Now on bouchon(two of your only reviews on trip advisor) Im sorry you feel this way but I hope it’s not to do with an incident that occurred in 2018 where you also slated us on all...More
