By chance I stopped at Toughers with my 2 kids. We were seated very quickly and whilst ordering I mentioned to the waitress (Niamh I think!) that it was my eldest child's 14th birthday. Following a delicious dinner all the staff appeared with dessert for...my kids but they had written 'Happy Birthday' and placed a lit candle on the birthday boys cake. All the staff started to sing happy birthday and all of the customers joined in. He was blown away by the kindness of all the staff and was smiling ear to ear all the way home. It's personal touches like this that would encourage me to return but also recommend Toughers to family and friends. To the waitress that arranged all of this I'm very thankful and clearly your well in touch with customer satisfaction. Very professional and well done. I hope this is acknowledged by the owner as good deeds of a member of staff should be praised.More

A wonderful place to dine on the long way from Naas to Newbridge😉. And seriously - great food:mouth watering medium rare steak- exactly as it should be. Great and friendly service.👍 It's really worth to lose 3 min.to exit from the M7.

Coming from Newbridge after a meeting was feeling the hunger pangs and , based on a few recommendations I had heard, decided to drop in for lunch. Placed was packed, which was a good sign. Met by waitress at the door who showed me to...table in, what must be, the annex area. My order was taken promptly and food ordered, with extra side of veg, arrived in no time. Service was prompt, attentive and, as mentioned, virtually full, the set up seemed excellent and all diners, in area I was sitting appeared happy. A special mention to the blonde haired waitress, had the calm authority of manager, who was keeping a close eye on service. By the way, food was excellent and I thought very good value. I will return !More

This was our first venture out for food and drinks since lock down restrictions were eased here. We were apprehensive about going out as restrictions have just been lifted here. We need not have worried. Toughers is well set up and all guidelines and protocol...have been very well adhered too. There's plenty of sanitation stations (and encouragement to use them) and plenty of room to move about. The place is spotless and as Toughers has always been known for, very well run. We had the Sunday lunch and it was gorgeous. We had a lovely little table for two and it was really nice to be out in a spotless room with people around for atmosphere but to feel safe in the environment - top marks Toughers. The staff are friendly and efficient and seem very happy in their jobs, the portion sizes are very generous and well priced. Place is immaculately clean and we felt very well looked after and very safe. Highly recommend. If you are nervous about the Covid restrictions and about Covid in general, rest assured you will be well looked after and very safe in Toughers and you will enjoy it.. Looking forward to our next visit already. Thanks everyone.More

We landed in Dublin, hired a car and set off on our weeks adventure. We stopped in Naas for a dinner. Food was amazing and delivered promptly. Big portions and not too expensive. Waiter came back to ask if food was ok and If we...needed anything else which is always a good sign. It was my wife's bday week. I mentioned it to the staff when we arrived at the restaurant. She got a free cake with a candle. I thought it was a nice gesture. Definitely recommend this one.More
