Travelled out from Naas to have dinner here last night. We had such a lovely evening. We had heard there was a new chef and he did not disappoint. Food was of a very, very high standard.....five star all the way. Restaurants in Naas, Ballymore...etc. - you need to up your game!More

Went here for our anniversary and I could not find any fault with it. The food was out of this world. The place was spotless. The staff was very friendly and we were not long waiting for our order. I would definitely recommend a visit...and I will most certainly be returning. One of the nicest places I have ever eaten in by a long shot.More

My husband planned this visit as a Valentine's treat. The food was amazing, some of the best we've ever had! The staff were polite and friendly, and the food delivery was timed perfectly. If we had one criticism it was that the tables are too...close to each other, so certainly not a romantic atmosphere, and perhaps not ideal for a personal nite out. It would have been nice if the Brown Bear had made Valentine's dinner alittle special with a small touch of a flower for the lady or some hearts on the table ....... just a thought. Wouldnt reccomend if you're looking for A romantic setting. Thankfully though the food has secured our return!More

My partner surprised me with dinner in this restaurant for valentines! It did not disappoint, the food was absolutely fantastic, portion sizes are quite big but I may have filled up on the bread and amuse-bouche! The goats cheese is a must try, and the...chef even tweaked the risotto for me as I’m allergic to mushrooms so I had a butternut squash one instead. Marie and Ashley were great waiter's very friendly and welcoming and the floor manager. It is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back!More

This is a very comfortable and pleasant restaurant/pub. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and they have a nice menu, but will also provide other alternatives if asked.. Great for special occasions. Slightly on the expensive side.

Very pleasant meal in the bar part as there was a wedding meal. Starters and main course and a shared dessert. Plates cleaned in all cases enough said.

Lovely food. Good and friendly service. We were only customers that I could see so lacking a bit of atmosphere. But would certainly return.
