I had booked a table for my mother and me a few weeks ago as we had a special weekend planned in Kildare. As my mam needs a coeliac diet and this restaurant has a menu to suit, we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately due lack of attention with food earlier in the day, my mother ate gluten which meant she was very ill and unable to join me at Butt Mullins.
The manager showed me to a lovely table where I could relax and people watch.
I enjoyed garlic mushrooms to start and then salmon, chorizo and tagliatelle for mains. I was too full after this to enjoy dessert but any I saw being served to nearby tables looked great. Staff were all attentive and professional.
It’s a very busy restaurant, lots of locals seem to come here as different people were saying hello to each other and the staff seemed to know them well.
Lovely place and I would definitely recommend.

We had a family dinner for my daughters 21st birthday. Cannot recommend Butt Mullins enough! This is a proper tradtional, homely local restaurant . Staff, food , service, everything was perfect. Also, the place is immaculately clean and very COVID safe. We had Daub of Beef, Burgers, goats cheese, wings and everyone raved about their dishes. Set menu for 23.95 is exceptional value, and we all enjoyed cheesecakes to finish. I forgot how much I prefer this style setting rather than noisy, glaring lights . Cant wait to come back, I want to try the duck! Thanks for a lovely evening

We have tried to book here last minute in the past and not been able to get a table. Now we know why! This place is fantastic.
Early evening it was buzzing, with most tables taken. The food was first class as was the service given by Pat who went above and beyond in ensuring that we were looked after. Her enthusiasm in describing the meals, in particular the specials, was a delight and you could not fail to want to eat here!
All of the staff were terrific and nobody stood still, if there was something that needed doing then they were on it. Three fantastic courses, plus drinks, 90 Euros and well worth every bit of it. We’ll be back 😊

Visited Butt Mullins for a late Sunday lunch. To start with a positive, we enjoyed our starters (the salad) and the bread. The salad with dried figs and hazelnuts was really delicious. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the dinner. We both ordered roast beef. The beef had obviously been sitting there since 1pm as it was dry, tough and tasteless. We had to request additional gravy just to help moisten the meat and make it more edible. The veg were fine - nothing noteworthy. The mashed potato under the meat was tasteless and lukewarm. For a Sunday roast, we were surprised that a roast potato didn't accompany the dish. We did ask if we could add a little stuffing to our roast and we were informed that it would cost an additional €4.95 EACH to add a little stuffing. We were shocked that the restaurant couldn't be more accommodating especially considering the poor quality of the food it was sending out. We did inform the waitress that we were disappointed with the dinner and explained why we needed more gravy as the meat was so dry and tough but she just ignored our comments and smiled at us. Such a disappointing experience. Would not return.

Shocking desperately disappointed and out of pocket €105 Went to this venue on the reviews on trip advisor which usually is relatively a great guide. 4 out of the 5 of us really disappointed with our mains. Mine was so covered in sauce & chili it was inedible. I asked for a portion of mash to compensate the hunger, my plate was full going back staff didn't even ask was there an issue but had no problem charging for the side of mash! Asked for water twice to no avail eventually went up to bar and got it ourselves. The service in general was very slow took 40m to take our order. Butt's is a big no way from this family.

An absolute gem in Naas, County Kildare! Butt Mullins offers a culinary delight with their fantastic food—the flavors are exquisite and truly memorable. The atmosphere creates a perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The service was impeccable, making the visit even more enjoyable. We were lucky to stop in Naas on our journey home to Tipp from Wicklow for a bite to eat and stumbled across Butt Mullins . The whole experience from front of house to waiting staff and then the food was top class !
We had the Lamb shank ,and Stuffed Chicken with leek and bacon sauce with lovely creamy mash and vegetables, it was melt in the mouth. We shared the mango mousse with homemade shortbread and sorbet an absolute delight. We would have no hesitation in driving back up from Tipp just to eat there again. Well done to all in Butt Mullins .

I cannot rate this place high enough. First of all I phoned to look for a reservation. In fairness I was very late doing so. The manager(Malachy) was so accommodating. He ensured we could have a table. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly young lady. She set the tone for the evening. The staff were polite and humerous. They were also very attentive without being invasive. But the food is the star of the show. I got a 10oz steak which was stunning. Pepper sauce with it was delicious too. My fiance got tagliatelle. That was every bit as good. The food was reasonably priced and piping hot when served only 15 mins after ordering. Thanks so much for a great evening guys. I can't wait to come back😊

We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have always been really happy with everything. The quality, presentation,choice and price are excellent. The deserts are delicious. The staff are the best in the business, attentive but unobtrusive, mannerly and good humoured and contribute greatly to the ambience. Keep up the great work.

I haven't been to Butt Mullins in a long time but I will be making sure I'm going there more regularly! The food was delicious!! 2 adults and 2 small children, we had the Butts burger and the Butts chicken as mains and the 2 little ones dined on sausages and chips, followed by ice cream and the famous Butts pavlova for us, I'm drooling here writing this, it was so good. We have already re-booked for a little Christmas night out. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, nothing was a hassle for them. Cant recommend this place any more

Arrived without a reservation and the The Manager who I later found out was called Malachy said he would split a table and squeeze us in . Thanks Malachy!
Food was every as was the service and our waiter was polite, informative and knew his job. After sharing a starter of breaded mushrooms which were delicious , my wife went for the special of Sea Bass and I had the Duck. Both were Excellent with generous portions and presented very well. The desserts looked amazing however we were grateful to get the table and stuck to our time allocated. We will be going back very soon every though it’s 55lms from our home. God food , good atmosphere, good service and good price! Keep it going Butt Mullins !

Top of its game - hands down the best restaurant in the naas area .
Stunning menu plenty of options to choose from not like some places that give you only a few options. I chose the duck salad special for starter and Parmesan crusted chicken with gratin potatoes and mushroom sauce for main. Portion sizes were generous. Flavour and cooking was exceptional . Lovely atmosphere and the service was brilliant . Cannot fault it . And prices are very reasonable. Thank you for your service to the town !!

It's been awhile since I've been here with covid and family an all but omg what a treat to be back. I treated my husband for his birthday and malachy and gang didn't disappoint. Food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and no long waits in between courses. If you haven't tried this place you really should give it a go. The food is of such high standard they should be really proud of themselves. They all sang happy birthday and completely mortified the hubby so job well done. Service, food and atmosphere top marks. Well done butts we can't wait to come back 😉

Great service and friendly knowledgeable staff.
Quirky but nice interior; lovely planting outside.
Not vegan ready, unless you want a salad and chips.
Food was good. Sea-bass came with a nice rich sauce; not for everyone and the fish on itself was good.
Seafood chowder was tasty; a bit too rich for my taste.
Caesar salad was good.
Chips were excellent.
Our son had the big tasty burger with everything; he loved it.
Side veg not overcooked and flavoursome.
Too stuffed to order dessert.
Only Heineken and Murphys on draft.
Music was good.

We went to Buttmullins for my birthday meal and it was absolutely gorgeous. The burger is out of this world! Service is excellent. Staff are very friendly. The cheesecake of the day was after eight, the best cheesecake ive ever tasted. The best food. You will not be disappointed. Its our 'go to' for a meal.
