Heard and read all the good reviews so decided to give it a go since reopening fully, room not too bad, server ok but not overly friendly, so to the food, chips pretty terrible, salad dressing cheap "mayonnaise" raw leek julienne !!! in salad, not...a pleasant thing to eat and never seen before, wife didn't like her meal either, maybe we got the "bad" day of the week, still, won't be back, shame as it is close by to where we live.More

Very poor experience at Cooked of Caragh. Food was very nice but very expensive! Staff were horrendous! They were rude and slow. The manager asked my friend for ID when ordering a drink which was no problem but he was extremely rude to her and...offended her majorly in the manner he spoke to the young lady and never apologised Nice food but will Not be attending again due to StaffMore

We booked a week ahead as we were having a family day out driving fast cars at nearby Mondello racetrack. We phoned and spoke to a very nice gentleman who assured he would hold our table and it would be fairly flexible if we came...earlier than the allotted time. We actually came about 25 mins early and it was no problem. The food was fantastic. Five of us had main courses only : Stir Fry, Carved beef, and two chicken burgers, all absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive, service excellent and really nothing was a problem. We will definitely use Crookes again as Mondello is a favourite haunt of ours - Top class👍👍👍👏👏More

I rated experience 2 because the staff were lovely and the food was good. We had reserved a table for 3 people for 3 pm. We were placed in the Cabin at an exit door beside a table that had a bundle of ashtrays, menus,...serviettes etc. My husband complained and requested another table, which we were told wasn't available. I placed a chair at the door to stop it swinging open with little success. Disappointed overall as I have been there on a few occasions. Won't be rushing backMore

Will definitely become a regular. The food was delicious (that black pudding salad!), with very generous portions, and the nicest service.

We had our daughter's naming day here, and the service and food was just fantastic. The guys were so accommodating from the moment I made the booking, even going as far as going to Ikea to try to get more high chairs for us as...we had a large number of small children attending. The service on the day couldn't have been better, the girls serving us were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them and the manager in charge on the day. The food was fantastic, everyone commented on it. Having such a fab venue really made the day more special and more memorable for us for our daughter's naming day. 10/10 and would highly recommend.More

Cannot recommend Cookes enough. Held my sons christening there and from the time I made the booking they were so lovely to deal with. Food was gorgeous and great menu, staff were fantastic and couldn’t have been more accommodating.

We were driving home from Dublin on 7th of August looking for somewhere to eat with not much luck. We rang Cookes and they were so accomadating after they already had a busy day. We ate at 9.30 and at no point felt rushed. The...food was absolutely delicious. I had the slow braised rib of Beef , which was melt in the mouth it came with perfectly cooked veg and champ and homemade Yorkshire pudding. We also got 2 lovely pizzas and a pasta, all of which were amazing. The staff were so pleasant and professional. This will be our go too place from now on when we are on the road. Thank you so much for the great food and service. Keep up the good work.More

Enjoyed a gorgeous meal with family last night. Starters mains and desserts couldnt be faulted.. all absolutely delicious. Amazing food presentation. Great chats with the staff...we seemed to interact with a good few which was so lovely and a great bit of funny banter too....From the girl who dealt with our booking on the phone to our welcome at the door..ordering serving.. and regularly checking to ensure all was well...top marks. This place is definitely much more than the good food..the atmosphere and staff ensured it'll be one we will return to. Great to see indoor dining back open and best wishes for continued success to Cookes.More
