Had lunch here today went in for carvery lunch st 3.10pm there were 4 people at the carvery to be told carvery was finished, thought fair enough it seemed busy enough, when we were seated I asked for pint of guinness and ordered lunch at...same time, with that waitress that took order disappeared I assumed she finished shift no sign of pint so 10 minutes elapsed I went to bar pint still sitting there and the only barman behind the counter was swamped,I spoke with Megan lovely waitress, very professional she poured me a fresh pint happy days, eventually at 3.40pm two dinners turned up, potatoes cold, no veg, so we waited for our third meal it turned up 5 minutes later with veg for 3, third meal was cold apart from veg. Once meals were on the table three diferent members of waiting staff asked us were we ok,It was a shame as we had been told by a friend from Newbridge to come here on our trip home down south. Lots of staff very eager to please, a bit of direction from a manager with restaurant experience would go a long way.More
