Hadn't been to the dew drop in ages and immediately remembered why I stopped going there.. The service is shocking slow. Had to wait 50 minutes before my meal arrived.

My family have often gone to the Dew Drop for a good meal since I was a child so I've a lot of fond memories from there. On a visit back home to Ireland, a family member suggested going for a meal there. I was happy to meet there as I know the food is lovely. I was surprised to... More

Hi Im suprised your "surprised" that the Dew Drop has changed since your last visit. It was remodelled 8 years ago, apologies for moving on Gastropubs are not a fad, they are business style and choice. Its lets people know that this place cares about what it serves both in food and drink, using fresh ingredients, local growers, local brewers... More

Really impressed, had the Lamb Tangine for the main. It's got a nice little kick for sure but it is not too spicy. I also had the fish starter, perfectly small but adequate portion sized for the starter and the main course portion was generous. The staff are welcoming, polite, respectful, accommodating of requests to change the order content/layout (sauce... More

Delightful food, casual dining experience. Need to book to avoid disappoinment. Suffice to say, the portions are very generous and quite keenly priced. No wonder this place is so popular! Very family friendly.

I have dined in ‘The Dew Drop Inn’ on two occasions in the past month. It is indeed a lovely spot for food. The Menu is varied and portion sizes are generous. The serving staff and manager are all polite, efficient and attentive and all special requests for example - sauce on the side etc were met with ‘no problem’... More

Visited on a Saturday evening, approx 730pm with a group of family and friends, 18 of us in total. The craft beer choice is absolutely brilliant, that have beers for all palettes, I went with the single hop recommended by the bar staff, who really know their stuff. I wasn't disappointed. Delicious. Despite being a reasonably large party, our starters... More

A gem of a restaurant, conveniently located off the N7 with free parking. Food is very good, service is excellent and, all-in-all, a great experience.
