Myself and a friend went here for lunch after visiting the Shackleton Museum just around the corner. There were some excellent specials for lunch at only €8, really good value. Also good coffee and cake deals. Service was friendly and prompt. It was clean, well...lit and socially distanced. The food was nothing exceptional but tasty, good sized portions and very good value.More

Passing through Athy today. Went to Bradbury's for lunch. Ordered a toasted sandwich and soup,with waldorf salad. Sandwich was put in the same package as waldorf salad,tipped on it's side and put in a bag. Soup also in the bag. Despite two tables occupied with...customers I was told I could not eat inside. No sanatising of hands between customers. I was allowed to use the toilet despite it been closed off.More

Got cream cakes and coffee, which we enjoyed at the Barrow, in the sun. Took our bags with us until we found a bin up on Upper William Street. Great cafe and great prices.

Great food and confectionary , kind and helpful staff. Exceptional window display Christmas and Easter. Akin to Cafe Tropical in Schitts Creek. Wholesome rustic and provincial dining experience. Good for families ,kids love the gingerbread men sold all year round . A must for anyone...near or passing through Athy.More

Called in here for morning coffee and cakes. I had a cream bun, hadn’t had one for years and it was soo good. Such a pity the coffee is soo bad that we both left it behind. Need to look at this because otherwise all...delicious.More

I have been a regular customer at Bradbury's in Newbridge. I have found that the service is very bad. The staff are unfriendly and they seem to forget orders. Several times I have had to remind them that I had been waiting a long time...for food. I feel that they could do with training on customer service and also how to deal with more than two customers at the till!!More

Great coffee. Lovely temptations, good value cakes and treats. Friendly staff. Bright and airy seating area. Kept really clean.

A vist to this little gem needs to be on you list of places to visit when in Newbridge. You can really tell that it is a family run business from the minute you walk in the door you are greated with a smile. The...choice of pastry and deserts all freshly baked of course will only leave you with one problem will i have one or two treats today. Well done to all the staff and management for some old world charm in a modern world.More

Caught by the christmas railway in the window together with a pang of hunger called in for late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed. The layout of the whole place was interesting as wals had been taken out of adjoining rooms giving free access yet privacy. Obviously...the main trade was specialty baking but the cafe food was a wide choice and satisfying. Would i go again....if in Athy I would make a special re visit. I can only hope soMore

I went there with my son and stepson and they both wanted the same dish but they only had one left (at around 12:45 in the afternoon). They have a nice selection of cakes.

A group of 40 of us stopped off for cake and tea. Service excellent (pre-booked). Staff really friendly, yet professional. Well worth a visit and prices very reasonable. Menu looked great as well and the breakfast being served to customers looked very appetising... ENJOY!

Had a light lunch ans it was delightful. It wouldnt be fair to leave without buying one of their famous apple tarts and it was gòrgeous. Lovely restaurant in the middle of the town.
