Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Driving back from the end of the Dingle arm, we came across this pub. Glad we stopped. Food was excellent, and we met the namesake’s son, also Padraig. Great stories about his Dad in the early 80’s as star of the Irish World Cup soccer...team. Worth the visit on many levelsMore

What a great stop off! We were driving around Slea Head and stopped for a pint and bite to eat. Fantastic goat cheese bruschetta and lovely pint (which we split because one of us was driving.) Chock full of Paddy O’Shea memorabilia. Clearly a legacy....Thanks for the hospitality!More

Dingle Electric Bikes guy played this place up so I assumed he gets a kickback and wasn’t that eager to stop there. But the location was exactly when we were hungry and the next pub was a good ways away on our bikes so we...ate there. Wow, glad we did — the food was exceptionally delicious. Had curry, fried Brie and bruschetta, and loved every bite. We came back the next day in the car for a repeat…More

First visit & wont be the last. Lots of seating on a busy Sunday, service was slow but the food made up for it. Really good fresh, homemade food

We had a lovely lunch and drinks in Paidi O Sè's pub the other day. It's as much a museum as it is a bar such is the amount of photos and curios adorning the walls concerning the famous footballers career, his opponents snd team...mates and all the famous people he's rubbed shoulders with. Jerseys from all over adorn the walls, action photos, signed memorabilia, I could've stated for stages looking at them all. The food was really good by the way and service was very attentive and prompt. Plenty of parking out front as well as the statue of Paidi in his pomp.More

We showed up prior to lunch service but the bar staff was kind and helpful. We played a round of pool and then had some great food at the bar. We scheduled and planned our trip around this bar. Sounds dumb right, but this was...just such a great spot during our last visit to the ring that we had to return. It is a great stopping point along your travels.More

Was great to back here. They’ve really up their game here. I eat there two years ago, loved it then, but this was really next level now. The fish tacos are just to die for. Very filling, recommend sharing them. Chowder in this area is...Newport Rhode Island level. So fresh.. Fish and chips was my choice on the second visit. So good. Nice crispy batter. Never a shortage of staff in this place, always super attentive..More

Lovely bar with lots of memorabilia on display. The bar was really busy when we were there but service was efficient & the food we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our visit.

Our tour company selected this pub while we were out on the Dingle Peninsula. Was a good stop for an early dinner for us. Paidi's son gave us a talk about his dad's sport history and then served a delicious meal of fish and chips....Food was very good. Sort of out in the middle of no where but very good. Would recommend if you are in the area.More

The English are not universally popular in Ireland and with good reason. This is a proud Irish-speaking area and this pub typifies that spirit. The Guniness was great and the chowder even better. Friendly service and a warm welcome.

Great location, super food and the staff are wonderful. Thanks, we will be back. It is a pity we have Covid as it would be great to be able to look at all the pictures. Next time maybe.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch here recently, one of the special of the day - grilled seabass served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. What a change from chips with everything and the fish was perfectly cooked. Why dont more places offer food like this rather than...frying everything. Portions were very generous and service was very good. Well doneMore

We really enjoyed our trip to Páidí Ó Sé’s. The set up is great- you find a table, and then go up and order your drinks and food at two separate counters. The food was great, the staff were friendly and there was a great...atmosphere. We would highly recommend Páidí Ó Sé’s to anyone visiting the Ventry/Dingle area!More
