I stopped in Cashel today and found this beautiful bakery. I was absolutely taken aback by the range of products in the bakery and all at a very reasonable price. I got a box of four buns, bread and a made up roll which were...all delicious! The staff were very friendly and helped me with my selection of goods. I never post reviews but this place was too good not to rave about. I will definitely be back in the Bake house very soon!More
Absolutely loved this cozy café/bakery. Me and my husband were so pleasantly greeted by staff and the food was deliciously fresh. There was a great selection for my young kids and the café is very kid friendly. Overall lovely place and a well needed escaped...from the cold Irish weather!More
I am definitely going to make a return visit to The Bakehouse. I had a very tasty meal in the upstairs café and on my way out I got a box of 4 buns for €5!!! Everything was absolutely delicious and it is rare that...you find such great quality food at such acceptable prices. Not only was the food terrific but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Truly a gem in the heart of Cashel.More
So you go to queue up (this will take you 5 mins to understand to begin with), you take your food and pay at the end. But if you have a full Irish you're given a tray and will come back for you? It was...very confusing, I nearly got my coffee pinched because I was so confused by the system.
Eventually we got our food and I had the salad and a scone, both quite nice. Then my friends had full Irish breakfasts which were so tiny! Not worth the money paid if I'm honest. The decor was so dated and the place was very dirty. I'd put 1 star if I had a bad meal tbh.More
The cafe itself is very nice, its quaint and the atmosphere is very friendly. There's lots of seats crammed in over a few floors, so wouldn't worry about not getting a table.
The bread is brilliant and the pantry downstairs looks amaizng.
The full irish...was a little lackluster for the price in all honesty andf the ordering system is very crammed, confusing and rushed. Especially if you're in a group.
Overall not a bad place for a meal, but not a stand out.More
I dropped in after a meeting while waiting for a bus. The cafe has a very relaxed atmosphere, on another day I’d linger a while longer.
Had a delicious chicken & pesto wrap with selection of salads and a very good cappuccino. Certainly worth a...visit and exactly what I needed.More
