Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very relaxed little cafe with friendly staff and lovely cake. Pizza looked amazing (but we were only there for coffee and cake). Fantastic views from the front overlooking the harbour and beach. Got busy over lunchtime, but staff coped really well and were able to...get everyone a table and food out in good time.More

Came across this place on our walk around the Island. Stopped in for some coffees and cakes in the morning, the coffee was good. They had a great deal on aperol spritz so we called back again in the afternoon and settled ourselves nicely outside...taking in the lovely holiday vibes. We didn’t eat but the pizzas looked great. Service was great and they accept card!More

As you know inisirr has beautiful views but you can’t get any better than the seaweed cafe. You can see the castle from your back and the sea to your front. The food was quick and the waitresses were spot on.If you’re going here definitely get...the pizza.More

This spot is a good stopping place for a light lunch or coffee when hiking or cycling through Inis Oirr. The cafe is family run and friendly. Our group shared a tasty pizza and soft drinks and enjoyed the spectacular sea view from the outside...seating area before embarking on an afternoon of exploration.More

The view was spectacular. The food was fresh and tasty. Excellent friendly service. And was reasonably priced. It is a must to visit if you are on the island.

The heartwarming seaweed cafe is a family run business that I keep returning to for its coffees cakes and delicious pizza. Inis Oirr is a small island bustling with business and culture and The Seaweed Cafe stands out for its closeness to the castle and...it's food.More

My husband and I stopped in here after seeing O'Brien's Castle. It's a small little place, but was great! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Offers pizza, bagels, paninis, desserts, and milk shakes amongst other treats. We had the pizza and it was very good. Meant...to get back for a milk shake, but didn't have the time. Cute little place with good food!More

I felt compelled to write this review. I stopped in here to grab a quick coffee on our way down from the Castle and to get a bottle of water for the other half. When I walked in I was behind another man waiting on...a latte. The entire service area was in disarray. The young waiter who was clearly nervous was trying to squeeze dirty plate etc in between the pizza oven (which is right inside the door) and the coffee machine and the man making the coffees was direct in telling him to tell the people waiting on two scoops of strawberry ice-cream that they only have one that it cant be "made out if thin air". The wrong pizza was brought out to a table of customers, and it was not what they ordered. I didn't hear an apology, only a look between the woman and man behind the counter as if "its not our problem". The customers shouted in that they would take the pizza as they didn't have time to wait for another one. I eventually was served and was curtly told where to find the water in the fridge in between two customers tables. My cappuccino was only three quarter full and this and a bottle of still water cost 4.50 euro. I know all this, and can write this long review, cause I was waiting nearly 15 minutes to be served/get the coffee. I really love to eat out, and visit nice cafes and this experience actually bothered me.More
