Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful pub on Inis Oirr, the smallest of the Aran Islands, only 15 minutes from Doolin by boat. Great lunch, freshly caught and prepared Crab and Fish dishes accompanied by a lovely pint of Guinness, friendly staff, a must visit if you venture out...to the IslandMore

A great pub with so many maritime display items it might also pass as a museum. Really friendly staff and the food.....words fail me. The fish and chips on Saturday were sublime and the crab salad on Sunday was a delicate once in a lifetime...treat.More

Went by ferry to Inis Oirr on a day trip with family, had a fabulous lunch in Tigh Neds, the Guinness was gorgeous and so was the crab salad . Staff were very friendly and attentive, hopefully will get to go back soon.

We visited on a very wet day and had our wee dog with us as many do. Unfortunately this place has a no dog policy indoors. I’m baffled as to why as it’s quite spacious and it seemed absolutely unnecessary on a day like that...but the manager refused to even give her a chance at coming in. This was the only place we visited which wasn’t dog friendly on our trip to Clare so it was really very frustrating. I would have happily left with her if she misbehaved or someone complained but we weren’t extended the courtesy of trying. The staff that served us were very friendly and also quite apologetic about the dog but their hands were tied. Food was really nice and so were the pints it’s just a pity in this day and age that a bar like this doesn’t allow dogs in. Anyone who’s been to Inis Oirr knows a lot of people bring their dogs on the ferry so seems a bit silly. They also had to remove a man and make him stand outside with his dog while the rest of his family ate despite them occupying a singular corner of the pub no where near any other customers. Again the staff were not at fault this seemed to be coming from the managerMore

Deirdre I don’t think you they take bookings. You are seated quite quickly. They have plenty of outdoor seating. We waited 10mins at around 2pm. Hope this helps
