I phoned this restaurant last week and asked if it was necessary to book a table for an evening meal. I was told it was a walk-in service and food would be served until 9.30 pm So I visited the restaurant at 8.45, was first...in the queue, one couple behind me, was asked to wait, waited for ten minutes watching people eat at their tables (two tables were free at this point) and was then told by the waitress that the tables were for drinks only. It's a restaurant, not a pub ! I left, hungry and disappointed. (Fortunately we were accomodated at another restaurant) Needless to say, we won't be backMore

Great location in Kilronan village and overlooking the harbour. Food and drink was very tasty. Staff friendly and efficient. Only flaw was the small menu.

We arrived 20 minutes before end of service and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They promised we would get our food and were happy, smiley and chatty despite being run off their feet! The wait for our food was long, but we...didn't mind as Lucas, Johnny and the two lovely ladies who were working that night kept us in the loop and let us know when our food would come. They even brought out a sneaky portion of chips to keep the hunger at bay. The pizzas were delicious and we had such an enjoyable evening! There was such a great atmosphere on the patio, all thanks to the hard work and decision from the staff. Fairplay to all the staff for being such craic despite it being mad busy and sweltering hot. I can't wait to go back again.More

The food was amazing. Pizzas stunning. The fries. The prawn starter, the wine. Absolutely loved it. Totally worked for us. Kids loved it too. Went twice in two days. Best in ages. Yep in Covid times you may need to wait a few minutes but...so worth it.More

Recommendation from B&B I had to look for the waitress after 15 mins we helped ourselves to seats. After 20 they took the order I had to ask for the drinks to be told the bar man was behind 1 Guinness and 1 bottle of...heineken. Handed the bottle not even an offer of a glass. I was sussing out for a group of ladies coming for an break away. Won’t be coming here. Only plus was the Guinness was good. I ate in inis sheer last evening bigger crowds and better managed and so happy for have our businessMore

Having gone to Inismore for the day, we arrived for a late lunch having had a great cycle around the island on a stunningly beautiful day. We got a great table at the front - perfect for people watching. I had an excellent bowl of...mussels in white wine and garlic sauce (very generous portion) and my wife had a very tasty, if a little floppy, seafood and chili pizza. Service was fine. With a pint of Guinness and a glass of Chardonnay, not a bad lunchMore

We really enjoyed dinner here after a lovely afternoon out at an Trá Mhór. The Guinness and Brú Brewery IPA were lovely and cold, the thin based pizzas seemed to be homemade, the fish was very fresh and the Cajun chicken burger was very tasty....The kids got a very decent portion of chocolate ice cream and the American style cheesecake was very nice. The only let down was the key lime pie. Sitting out facing the harbour on a lovely sunny evening was very pleasant. We were there about 5.45pm so no problem getting a table.More

On my visit to Inis mór after a long day of exploring and taking in the wonderful scenery when; GO TOBANN my day was ruined. Me and my friends arrived at the Bayview at 7pm in the rain. And we were met not with cordiality...and service, but with rudeness genuine disregard for us as human beings. We 6 drenched tourists asked to be seated at the empty table under the Gazebo and were told NO as staff (Curly haired manin hat) “were waiting for a booking” despite clear signage that it was walkins only. We offered to take an outside table in the rain as we were starving and once again we were denied with no reason given, they didn’t even offer to dry it for us! So with heavy hearts and empty bellies we were cast out into the storm! Luckily we managed to secure a table at the hotel who were much nicer and accommodating despite being much busier than the bayview. Diners beware, avoid this restaurant, much nicer places elsewhere on the island including the Spar Deli. I have no idea how their tip jar was so full? Won’t make the mistake of wasting my time here again. Sin éMore

We stayed on this beautiful island for three days and this restaurant was the only low point! We tried every night to eat here and were turned away each night at 7:30pm being told they "weren't taking any more tables" because "the waitress was tired"...yet the restaurant was practically empty at this time of night. We asked if we could sit and have a drink instead and were told "no" with no further explanation. The attitude from the staff was incredibly rude and made us feel as if it was a huge chore and inconvenience to even be there. We had heard great reviews about this restaurant. Yet what we witnessed was absolutely horrible and unpleasant. The menu itself left alot to be desired. The whole experience gave us a "can't be bothered" attitude. I would not recommend going, you probably won't even get in!More
