Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I would highly recommend this hotel, they accommodated us though we had no reservation for food, which was excellent even though they were very busy. Great staff. Thank you.

We were met from the ferry by a minibus for the short transfer to the hotel where we stayed in the new cabins on a raked site which allows everyone a view. The cabins are very well appointed with twin beds and a large bathroom....In addition the cabins all have a deck which encourages interaction with the neighbours. Breakfast is excellent as is the evening meal and the staff and very obliging and lovely. Niall the General Manager deserves a specail mention. The hotel also has function rooms for weddings etc.More

This is a well run, hospitable hotel. I stayed in one of the chalets at the back of the hotel which was clean, bright and airy. I would certainly;y recommend the chalets for a short term stay, although they are a little cramped. The restaurant...is grand, the staff are charming and this makes a great base for exploring the island.More

Ask reception for a chalet rather than the main hotel when booking. The views are stunning- food great, drink excellent - staff really friendly and a bus to take you up and down to the ferry if you don’t want to walk.

Waited 25 years to go back to Inismor with the added bonus of a very special man. Aran Island Hotel is just perfect. From the chalet and its views to the location and most importantly the friendliest staff ever. Nothing was ever a bother and...those smiles from all made our 3 night stay perfect. And cherry on the cake it was sunny so amazing sunrises and great sunset drinks from our terrace. The chalets are so well done spacious and cosy... Special mention for Pamela and Laura and Quentin (and I don't say that cause I m French 😊😜) you have made our stay sooo enjoyable.. Lucky you who all get to stay on Inismor. We have made a promise to ourselves to be back each year... Good luck for the rest of the season. Annick and PatrickMore

Food was ok, I ordered salmon got too much mashed carrot a small bit of potatoe and salmon, nothing I’d write home about. Nobody was impressed by the meal out of 5 of us. My friend who’s a vegan ordered a vegan desert and they...put cream on itMore

We had a great lunch in the Aran Islands Hotel. The food was fine, but the service was exceptional! Between the 2 Ciaras, Quentin and Melissa we had a great late lunch! Really enjoyed our afternoon!

Nice hotel but couldn’t check in until 4pm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was good. We stayed in a room in the main building which was very basic but clean. If I was staying again I would ask for one of the new chalet...type rooms at the back of hotel. Room was worth it at €110 for the night and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful Inishmore and hope to return again.More

The food here is just amazing. We were a bit doubtful about booking our dinners here during our stay as it is such a busy hotel we weren’t sure if food would be a priority. We were very wrong! After dinner on our first night...we just had to book in for the second night. Between the two of us we tried four different starters and mains over the two nights, all of which were amazing! We both had dessert on one night which was also top class. The price is very reasonable for the quality of foodMore
