Went in last night for dinner with a friend of mine, couldn’t fault the food as it was absolutely lovely but service really wasn’t the best. The girl who sat us was nice took our order in good time but once we were served our food nobody came back, nobody checked on how our meal was which is a standard in the industry, the table was cleared and we were sat for about 20 minutes with no drinks and no offer of a dessert menu. Had to call a waiter over to get our bill. My friend and I are both waitresses so expected a lot more. Really enjoyed the food and will be back but last night was disappointing.

Quite disappointed. We’d been recommended this restaurant by the hotel we stayed at. I had fish and chips the quality of which certainly did not meet the price.
We had multiple waiters. One of those ladies, who was Irish was lovely. Another who didn’t speak English very well told me I had to have peas with my fish and chips which I didn’t want. She either didn’t understand me or didn’t want to make a small change. I really don’t know.
Anyway it was changed to coleslaw.
We both just found for the big money we paid we’d had very poor value.
My husband wasn’t happy with his meal.
We’d planned to have dessert too but changed our minds.
Such a shame!

The food here is nearly always lovely, but sometimes it’s a little off the mark and this could be down to busy periods. It’s nice grub to grab if you’re around in molloys and fancy something tasty in between pints.
Staff are always really nice and the carvery on a Sunday does be top !

Dined in the Station Friday the 17th of Jan 2020, was seated and not even offered menu. After waiting an age the waitress finally came back and asked what we wanted, she was beyond annoyed when we asked for menus. There was only two other tables of two ocupied, so not busy when we were seated and 4 staff standing around chatting ignored everyone. The food was average at best when we got it but the staff completely ruined the experience. We asked for a to go box for my daughters desert but never got one we eventually left agreeing between the six of us not to return which is a shame because I had planned to book a large group for a confirmation. Lovely setting ruined by the staff!

Absolutely terrible service and the staff are so rude! Had dinner here last night myslef and 3 friends 2 of which are pregnant. When waitress eventually came to clear our table after been sitting there finished for at least 45 minutes we asked for the desert menu to be told the kitchen is shut. When I told the girl we where waiting a while for table to be cleared and shuuld of been asked did we want desert before kitchen shut which is normal proto call in any other pub iv been in for dinner the waitress shrugged her shoulders and said she was doing other things! Totally unacceptable and i was left very fuming it was like as if to say "not my problem" So my pregnant friend didnt get desert and we where given the bill then and told to pay straight away. When it came to closing time the bouncer was so rude he told me to get out of my phone and finish my drink. I wouldnt normally write reviews but this is the 4th time iv eaten here and 3 out 4 times i was unhappy about the service. The lady manager with the short hair im not sure her name was lovely one time we where there and the service from her was outstanding.

We booked in advance and got worst possible table just next to the kitchen door, isolated from every other customer. At first we decided to have 2 course for 22 euro, then we changed it for just the starter, the waitress told us it was possible after that she came back telling us that the meals were already cooking so she suggested takeaway and it was fine for us. We went to the cash to pay our 22 euro plus a pint. But suddenly the waitress made us pay more (the full amount of the plates ordered) after that we asked about it and they gave back the "tourist trick" money. Just a very disappointing experience

Meal for 3 people on Thursday evening. The pint of coke was the best thing here somehow. I ordered the large Caesar salad with chicken as an appetizer. It was smaller than expected and drowned in dressing that had too much anchovies seasoning in it. 16.25 For my main I had ordered the chow mein with shrimp… it came with chicken instead…lacked salt as flavor or was cooked with something that wasn’t soy sauce. The second person in the part ordered a ribeye special medium and both of them came out well done…the nachos were better the steak… the third person ordered a single ribeye medium rare came out ok but the creamy mashed potatoes were drier the Sahara and had almost no flavor…I’ve had better cafeteria mashed potatoes than these…needless to say you cannot screw up a can of coke… I guess there regular cook was off this evening but our food experience was just bad here. Maybe it’s better on the weekend, maybe the burgers are better but. Steer clear of the rib-eyes, Caesar salad and chow mein. I am never coming back as you can only break my heart once.

The general place is well kept and clean. Very in line with COVID regulations. Food is good size portions and taste nice. Staff were very laxy-daisy about coming to the table to ask if we wanted drink top ups or how the food was, we had to get their attention when we needed something.

Lovely restaurant really relaxed atmosphere and great food. I would definitely recommend the prawns and the chicken burgers although everything we got was fantastic. The only reason it didn’t receive 5* was the sent us out the wrong desserts and we were overcharged but both issues were resolved when brought the the servers attention.

I have been here a few times and while the food is lovely the service is always so slow. Yes it was very busy tonite but again an hour to wait for main courses this is a long time a heads up would be nice. The food makes it worth while I had the chicken supreme it was served on a bed of risotto very tasty. The other dishes ordered were the ribs huge portion and so good, then the tacos came complete opposite tiny portion more like a starter 3 tacos no side nothing very poor they tasted good but please add some chips or something. Our server was very poor we had to call him for everything except the bill!! Also no fish special when advertised very poor. I’m saying that we will be back just hope the service speeds up.

Terrible service and portion of lasagne that wouldn’t fill a budgie. Staff disinterested. Not asked how food was or did we want dessert or coffee/tea. Guy delivering stuff through exit door right beside us - not wearing a mask either. Asked for bill and left waiting 15 mins so had to go up to till. Place not even busy. What a joke. Rip off Ireland indeed. Avoid.

We contacted Molloys very last minute for a family of 20 before 11am. We got there 10 mins later and they had our tables ready. Food was fantastic, surpassed only by the service by Luigi. He was very attentive double checking everybody’s order, no mean feat with so many orders. He was great to deal with, chatty and so pleasant. We all left saying we’ll be back.

I've been here many times now and can never complain. we love coming on a wednesday for music bingo but get food before hand. Menu is great with lots of options and the stuff are very helpful. Always a nice buzz about the place and is never too full or too empty. Great value for money and the cocktails are also great. The also do some midweek deals which are exceptional. I would highly recommend and it's actually a nice place.

Worse carvery we've ever had. Meat was as tough . All veg and stuffing had way to much pepper in them. Couldn't eat it . Tried desert and it was still frozen solid so couldn't eat that either. Won't be back

Went for dinner on a Tuesday with two work friends. We each had a different main and dessert. I forget what the others had because I was too busy enjoying my Pulled Pork, nicest I've ever had.
I found the staff very friendly and chatty. We had a couple of drinks and a chat after the meal.
Will definitely return.
