Had a lovely meal here with both our families the night before our wedding, couldn't fault it! We had a great time, devious food and the early bird is brilliant value. Great pints and lovely services. Top notch!!

Best steak ever said my cousin from Nova Scotia & that says something from a true carnivore. Me, I like the fajitas, or salads, or chowder. Been coming here for years, grew up nearby, so it's like coming home. Friendly staff, good value.

I didn't know so I googled it. I remembered them saying it was old and historic but it has been updated inside and looks very modern. According to their website, it was established in 1745.
