Food was abysmal, service was slow, they obviously dont have a chef. Word is that the so called manager was a barman previously. Severe lack of training. Avoid this once great place that's open about 20 hours a week. Disgraceful!

Called in on a Saturday night bar/resturant was quite busy.Sat for a while before staff came over to us.We ordered the fish and chips.waited 40 mins we should of really left then but we thought maybe it would be worth the wait but no fish...was soggy chips looked as they where reheated a few times my partners chips had salt on them but not put there by him.Very disapointed.Glenties is a bueatiful place but give this place a miss.More

We called in here on spec with a group of 13. The service was excellent and the food as well. I would recommend this place. All the food we ordered was eaten and every plate was eaten. I would give the thatch 9/10. The staff...and service was brilliant. Well done keep up the good work.More
