We showed up rather late due to weather but a delicious meal was quickly whipped up. So accommodating!

the food was gorgeous, we arrived late to stay overnight but that was no issue. We had the seabass which was the best I have ever tasted.

I had great memories of my last meal in this restaurant approx 6/7 years ago. I had a meal in Aug 16 and it was a huge let down. The restaurant was chaotic with no particular servers to any section. The chef didn't seem to know what food went with what and everything was a combination of under cooked and... More

This was my 5th or 6th time to Heron's Cove. Every time the food has been fabulous, the staff extremely friendly and attentive and generally a great time was had by all. In the summer months it can be quite busy, especially at the weekend, so you will need to book ahead. During the winter months it is much quieter,... More

This restaurant is tucked away on the seafront off the beaten track in a gorgeous location on the edge of a picturesque small cove that does indeed have herons living in it. The food is very high standard for a restaurant in a small country town, and the standards is consistently good. I ate here two years in a row... More

This is a lovely restaurant with an interesting variety of good local food. The location is wonderful a small cove, off the beaten track. Several of our party had the hake which was delicious. I had the lobster which was also very good. Note for American visitors: if you get the whole lobster it comes split in half which is... More

The food ordered (hake) was lovely and cooked to perfection as was the starter we found absolutely no fault in the food at all. The service would have been perfect if it was just my wife and I but we were there with our 3 year old so would have like it to be a little bit quicker however we... More
