Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved eating here during our day trip to Masaya. It’s located very close to the market. We all ordered different things and it was all so delicious. Our favorites were the panini’s, mozzarella sticks, and brownies. The restaurant is very cool and the staff...were amazing. We would definitely come here again.More

This is a good place to duck into if you are roaming around Masaya. Their food is good, coffee is good and they try to do live music and have great customer service.

Stopped here for coffee and pastry in am. Quiet place in a quiet town. Simple comfortable decor. Great coffee, pastries were local, fresh and good.

The service was pretty appalling and the food was really quite average. Not really worth a visit although the courtyard setting is very pleasant and might have been nice for a drink or a coffee...

Located in the Central Park. An easy choice for tourists to make. Always seems to be open when it's supposed to ( this is unfortunately a big thing here in Nicaragua) . The servers are always on point (I have been three times and have...not had to wait for anything) . Always very clean and tidy, including washrooms. Menu is big enough there will be something for everyone.More

Enjoyed a delicious fruit drink & vegetable dish - very creative cooking. Pleasant atmosphere. This is not a fast food place, perfect to have a break after lots of walking/exploring. Excellent coffee.

Thank you for your comment. We will separate the smoking and non smoking areas right now, and with respect to the mosquitoes problem, we are looking for something that is biological and not chemical and to the repel them instead of kill them. I heard...More

Of recent, Masaya has opened Kaffe Cafe. A classy place with beautiful ambiance. It is located right in front of central park. Don't confuse it with the other coffee places. This is a restaurant for dining and relaxing. Michael our waiter was courteous, efficient, kind,...and friendly. The prices were good. The Beef and chicken were prepared to perfection. The french fries were not great nor was the simple salad. They need to improve upon their side dishes, add more taste and variety. Great selection of desserts, coffees, and a bar, along with clean bathrooms, great tables and beautiful decor.. I didn't give it a 5 because I know their Chef can improve upon the food!More

Good atmosphere and very good cafe but for a place that pretend to receive foreign people (nica people don't expect that much), service is really poor (too slow and check your change). Organization seems to be out of control as soon as 2 or 3...tables are occupied. Food is ok but personally I can't enjoy it due to the poor service. Very disappointing 😒More

This is a really nice place in Masaya, coffees and teas are great and cheap, the food is pretty good, hamburgers and sandwiches, prices are very good for what you get. Sangrias are delicious and sometimes on fridays or saturdays nights you can enjoy a...live music show.More

There is no air conditioning here. The ceilings are high and there is a patio with umbrellas which could be nice in the evening during a hot period. When it is fresh outside, this cafe is very comfortable. There are German and Italian sausages on...the menu. The coffee is Las Flores brand which is very good, and there are some desserts. Free wireless. The proprietors are nice women.More

We'd been in Nicaragua for four months, so anything with good cheese would impress us - but yum. Went for dinner and for breakfast. Both worth the time.
