I don't eat pork, so I cannot comment on their ham, however, they have some of the most incredible baked goods you will ever behold. Just thinking about the lemon cookies makes me want to hop in the car and get some right now. Their cakes are perfect as well. They are expensive, but as the saying goes, you get... More

Do takeout here for board of directors meetings. Great hams, sliced ham, and ham bones. Chicken salad good. Cookies irresistible.

Sandwiches are good, but not gourmet, what you would expect a local place to be. The Lemon cookies are the best cookie in knoxville, and I don't even traditionally like lemon cookies. Their cakes are very good, too.

We returned to Ham 'n' Goodys where we ate lunch regularly- years ago. Food is still fine, and the service remains friendly. We enjoyed an outstanding turkey and cheese- but the best memory was confirmed by the lemon cookies. Stop by- but come hungry.

Date of Visit: Wednesday, September 02, 2015 Pros: Good food, mouth-watering lemon cookies Cons: Service Our company has ordered food from Ham N Goodys many times (box lunches) and the food is pretty good. I could eat a whole dozen lemon cookies in one sitting! And in person, the service is pretty good. However, they need to answer their phones!... More

Not long after moving to town, I heard this place had the best cookies/cakes around. After my first visit a few years ago, I was hooked. The Lemon Cookies (as everyone around here knows) will blow your mind. My mother is a fantastic cook (biscuits from scratch, cans her own home grown vegetables and such) and she only uses White... Oh my gosh! I just can't even rave enough about it. Talk about eye rolling good. I've been coming to Knoxville for years and just can't miss Ham'n'Goodys red velvet cake. Just the best!

Lunch is pretty good and desserts are excellent but service is poor. Walked in at 1.31 pm to order a sandwich but was curtly told that lunch was no longer served with no apology or explanation. Sign out front says open until 2 pm. Will be a awhile before I go back.

Maybe we were a little early at 11- they didn't appear ready for the lunch crowd yet, but I ordered the tuna sandwich and was told they didn't have any, ditto pimento cheese. Why was it listed on the menu? Went with the chicken salad, thought it was pretty good, the slice of chocolate bar cake was delicious. My daughter... More
