On our way home we stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was here. Great service from our server and good environment for our toddler. When you're in east Knoxville, I highly suggest you visit.

I will start out by saying that the outside looked a little rough. There was very little parking. However, do not let that deter you from eating here! This was some of the best Mexican food that my husband and I have eaten! I had a steak & he had chicken. Both were excellent.

We arrived at 7:00 PM on a Saturday evening and noticed the parking lot was full. Surprisingly, we were seated right away. As soon as we sat down we were greeted with a basket of tortilla chips and salsa. I ordered the Carnita Meal with beans and rice. The Carnita (Pork) was shredded and swam in a flavorful sauce with... Awesome food.. 🤗 It is nice to have such a great restaurant close to our home with such a variety of delicious dishes n the staff is always nice. A 2nd location opened up in east towne n food is great there too but we like the atmosphere here a little better.

When I moved up here, it took a while to find a Mexican Restaurant that's as good as the ones at home. Well, it took me a couple of months but I found one better than home. If I could eat here every day I probably would it's so good. Everything is yummy and food always comes out hot! All... More

When my wife suggested we have dinner at a Mexican Restaurant, I was worried that the food would be too heavy. I was wrong. As soon as we sat down a basket of home made tortilla chips and salsa appeared at out table. The chips were still warm and the salsa was spiced just right. For my meal I ordered... More

I actually started across the street at a well-known chain restaurant in the region that we used to call a greasy spoon experience growing up. However, I wanted to try it in TN. After five minutes of not being waited on, I got up and found Habaneros! It worked out very well. I should've pulled into their parking lot first.... More

The staff here will make you feel at home. And the home cooked meals help. The food is authentic and moderately prices. Try the Habaneros dip it is awesome. But then I have eaten here several times and never found anything that wasn't good.

I alway stop here when in town. Tried the carnitas in green salsa. Best ever. So good I went back the next day and had it again. Service always good. This is a notch above the typical Mexican restaurant. Really good for the money.

Description
This is a nice little place, not much on glitz, but plenty of good food and cold beer. I've been here a few times and have had no problems. It's in east Knoxville which is sorely lacking good Mexican food. Give it a try.
