Phil's Dream Pit, by name, may not evoke the thought of great barbecue if you've never been there, but you will be missing something special if you pass them by. Pleasant and attentive staff serve up some great food. My personal favorites are their pork BBQ and baked beans.

Food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. Staff is super friendly and quick to help. Once you go to Phil's, you won't be happy with any other BBQ!

I just had so much fun there with my friends.. This hotel is full of scenes and luxuries. What a splendor it has,I can't express in simple words.. I am mesmerised with its memories still. Don waste your time in thinking. This hotel will not give you any chance of repenting.. Have fun

No matter what you come here for it is all delicious. A few times we have gotten the big meals to feed us for a working lunch. Other time we were finally talked into going out for lunch. Try the hashbrowns, I don't think they have them all the time but they are better than Cracker Barrels.

the BBQ is great tasting, business is always good. the staff is friendly. if you are like me you hate to go in a restaurant and eat when it is empty no customers around. it make you feel like " what does everyone else know about the place that I don't?" you do not have to worry about Phil's Dream... We drive past here at least annually and always plan on having lunch at Phil's. The pork BBQ is not fatty, and it's delicious. Portions are large and prices low. There's nothing fancy about the place, but it's clean and comfortable--and BBQ restaurants aren't supposed to be fancy. The staff is friendly too. Highly recommended.

Stopped in to Phil's Dream Pit after looking at reviews on Tripadvisor. I was staying in Kingsport for work and having a good barbeque craving. I placed an order to go and got ribs and house smoked sausage with baked beans and hasbrown casserole. The ribs were tender and smoky. The beans were delicious. Smoked sausage was great!. I will...
