I had been wanting catfish, so my husband suggested we try here. The restaurant is dated and smells musty. The tea was good and the hush puppies were as well. I had fried catfish, Cajun shrimp, deviled crab, white beans, and okra. The fish was not that great. The coating was bland and the fish was over cooked. Not to... More

Came here due to the wife wanting catfish. I got the seafood platter. The food came out freshly cooked The fish was ok. The fried scallops was the best thing on the plate. Fried shrimp was number two. The deviled crab was subpar. Mainly filler. The white beans were suburb. Slaw was grated too fine and too much sugar. Hush... More

The catfish was fresh and crispy. Service was FAST! Our server couldn't have been faster unless she added skates 😂 White Beans were creamy. Hush puppies were a bit sweet & crispy.

Great catfish, potatoes and sides for in house or takeout. Hush puppies have no onions and little flavor but the people there are friendly and won't break the bank to eat there

This place is old as the hills and looks it inside - -but It has some really good food. Great hushpuppies and fried catfish and wonderful shrimp. Free ice cream at the end of your meal is fun for the kids.

Ate here about 2:00 on a Wednesday. Parking lot had about 10 cars in it. Usually a good sign. It was seat yourself. Within a minute of sitting down, we had menus, hush puppies and placed our drink order. Took the drinks less than a minute to arrive. I had the 3 catfish fillet plate with white beans and cole... It had been awhile since we'd been to this restaurant and we decided to try again based on recent TripAdvisor reviews. Well...we didn't like it then, and we still don't like it. We try to give places another chance in case it was an off night, etc. We were really looking forward to some great food and noticed the place was... More

Stopped here on a road trip with the family. Close to I40 and easy to find. Exterior is a bit shabby but there was nothing shabby about the food. Hushpuppies delivered while we waited on our orders. Catfish and shrimp were seasoned and tasty. Portions were large so consider when ordering. Free soft serve ice cream was a bonus! All... More

Great selection for a catfish house. The prices are reasonable and food quality much better than I expected. The fried catfish platter includes choice of claims( nice size) and shrimp. I did not like the Cajun Popcorn Shrimp. My wife loves the Grilled Shrimp Salad. Pictured is the shrimp platter

Great service and food. Prices very reasonable. Waitress greets you at your table with a basket of fresh, hot and delicious hush puppies. Catfish & brisket the best I have had. Try the pickled green tomatoes. Portions are large. You won't go away hungry.
