We met my sister for dinner and absolutely went crazy over the great selection and truly great food. A great find although my GPS left something to be desired when it took us past Exeter and made us go around the block. Once we did we couldn't see the sign for Restaurant. Glad we caught my sister driving in so... More

New Asia was once a wonderful Chinese restaurant but my last two visits have been lackluster with service that matches. Nevertheless, its local popularity continues. Ambiance is hard to achieve when there's just a wide open dining space and not much more. The menu is stuffed with typical selections for lunch and dinner and there appears to be a second... More

This is the BEST Chinese restaurant in Germantown. The hot and sour soup is one of our favorites. The kids love the sesame chicken and I love the General Tsao.

When all the family is in town we go to New Asia for dinner. There is something on the menu for everyone, from the 21/2 year old to the 70 yr old. We get all the soups, steamed dumplings, egg rolls and fried chicken wings just for starters. All the dinners are excellent. Wonderful family place.

If you want authentic Chinese food this is the place to eat. It's definitely not fast food. Great price for lots of food! We ordered take out and they are very abrupt and tethering on rude on the phone. If you can get past that the food is very good. Ordered my favorite-chicken chop suey $7.50 and house fried rice... Do not eat here. I got terrible sick vomiting and diarrhea. And the service was not good. Food cost to much to make people sick.

Visited New Asia with two friends this week, and was disappointed. While service was good, food all pretty much tasted the same, or no taste. We all ordered from the lunch menu, and all were different: I had beef & broccoli; another beef with garlic sauce, and other a chicken dish of which I am not certain. All came with... More

Most customers order takeout. Excellent quality and portion size. Great value. Try the house fried rice. Its chock full of stuff.

The service was poor, they would not allow any consideration of substitutions even if you paid, and both the cashew chicken and almond chicken had few vegetables except for an inordinate amount of diced zucchini, The waiter was not intentionally rude, but his actions were rude naturally and made you feel very rushed. I have eaten here three times, and... More

My sis and I ate here again, and this time I had the Peking Duck. Half a duck, chopped into pieces after cooking. When brought to the table, the skin had been removed in pieces and was crispy and delicious. I recommend that you bring enough friends to eat the entire dish at the restaurant, because the skin doesn't stay... More
