Food was great. Service was mediocre at best (slow and forgot an ordered appetizer), beer was flat, and in retrospect it looks like I paid for the forgotten app. I hope it was an off day.

Food was excellent. Choices for a private party were very good. Facility has been designed well for hosting such. I was just attending but the AV hookup is provided & they are very attentive. Dedicated wait staff for your room & party. Quality of food is simply outstanding. From the excellent salad to start with to the delicious salmon that... More

This is a sports bar/restaurant offering a usual selection of meals from snacks to burgers, seafood and some steaks. The prices are not outrageous as so often happens when you have a semi captive market.

This last year, 2016 we had the Thanksgiving diner special dinner and we really enjoyed it, despite the higher cost. So we chose to do Easter brunch this year at GC and I was less than impressed. It was OK as buffet goes, but like buffet, some choices were good, some less than. At 30 a guest and nothing special... More

sat at the bar after a long drive into Nashville area. Nice stop for a cool drink and some appetizers while awaiting my room check-in at the Drury Hotel adjacent to Granite City. "J" the bartender was friendly and the service great. Enjoyed their "chili shrimp" with a cold brew .

We were in town for a soccer tourney and looking for something close to the Homewood Suites. Very close, seated quickly and served quickly. It was a little loud but it was a Friday night. I had the shrimp tacos. Good but spicy. My husband had meatloaf. He said it was not hot enough but was good. And my son... More

The interior of this restaurant is fantastic- everything seems new. Arrived 7pm on Saturday, they were busy, but we got seated right away. Service was excellent; timing was good. We had the two-pull which was The Bennie and The Northern – they offered samples beforehand so we knew we liked it already. Caeser salad was a generous size with a... More

Restaurant is right next door to the Drury Inn that I stayed in while in Franklin. Service great, but the kitchen was a little slow. Good burger and fries. Mid-range prices.

Description
Granite City Food & Brewery(R), a casual dining restaurant with an on-site brewery. Our initial restaurant commenced operations in St. Cloud, Minnesota, in June 1999. Our second restaurant, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, commenced operations in December 2000, and our third restaurant opened to the public November 20, 2001 in Fargo, North Dakota. We now have 26 stores operating in 11 different states. At Granite City Food & Brewery(R), we serve signature beers, including Duke of Wellington (an English ale) and Broad Axe Stout (an authentic Irish beer), and entrees such as London broil. We offer a broad menu of items that are prepared fresh daily and are served in generous portions at reasonable prices. Our handcrafted beers are moderately priced and offer unique styles and flavors not typically produced by major breweries. Our founders, Mr. Wagenheim and Mr. Burdick, have over 52 years of combined hospitality industry experience. Mr. Wagenheim's experience includes that of corporate executive, owner/operator, manager and consultant for hotels, resorts, and individual and multi-unit restaurant operations. Mr. Burdick, a brewing chemist, has over 30 years experience in the restaurant, hospitality and brewing industry in both corporate and private positions. Fermentus Interruptus™Shortly before we opened our third store, we launched our patented brewing process, Fermentus Interruptus™, which makes micro brewing for multiple locations more efficient. This process, conceived and designed by Mr. Burdick, allows us to ship sweet liquid called wort, from our central brewing facility to individual stores. When this liquid reaches the stores, we begin the fermentation process and complete the brewing. We use Fermentus Interruptus at all of our Granite City Food & Brewery(R) locations.
